Well of course, its been done for all the Gathering Skills.
We also need one for Shyllien Ecology, too.
I noticed that there's 3 different ore piles in terms of looks in B3...how to differentiate one pile from another???
If you count the enlargement of the medium pile...that would be 4.
Different ore piles have different drop rates. However, this page only references on vein type in B3 not including the giant one which is 100% rate of hillwen.
On the bright side its not as bad as Scathach Beach? Then again, the mobs swarm like bees...
hahaha...bees...I see what you did there. That aside, I can kill all but the golems...those things should not have adv stander...
I don't know, I find Emerald Golems easier to fight then Crystal Golems because if you have a pet out normal attacking him, you can pretty much stun lock him provided you never use a smash skill or windmill. (Fighter skills doesn't change his AI to attack you.)
Don't the Emerald Golems ping red though? And I don't see what I was doing or never really thought about it, Mikaya.
So I uploaded all the pictures and...well...I can't tell just by looking at them that one is "larger" than the other. should I have kept myself in the frame?
Character size varies too, so that wouldn't help much. Maybe drop some gold on the ground for the screenshot?
As a reference point for size.
Gold came to mind first because it's the most common item in the game, and not many items are cheaper than 1g.Technically, any item could work as long as it doesn't change size like fish, but more common items are easier to recognize. Mining drill or ore items would probably work here(not everyone will recognize them, but people going to the mines should).
How about just making a map to show where they are? Their locations are always the same anyway.
"Each ore deposit holds enough resources for five consecutive successes."
Are the mines instances like dungeons/shadow missions or are they open maps like how Sliab Cuilin is with its cuilin stones? If the latter, wouldn't it become chaotic when many many people would be competing for resources?
It's open world. Drilling and Ecology=Metallurgy. (In fact, Mining is to metallurgy as herbalism is to ecology. But drilling gives metal conversion-only ores and unknown ores.) It WOULD get chaotic but there's a lot of ores and in theory, you can infinitely mine it so long as it doesn't explore. I think it should be more than just 5 per ore.
I've updated with the correct information regarding reward chances and amount of resources available per type. Anyone is welcome to give them better more descriptive names.
