I just fished up a carnivorous fish from my ice fishing hole (homestead) Physis isn't one of the places listed as being able to get the carnivorous fish, so I'm thinking that it's a possible option with the candy bait. Does location matter when fishing with candy bait? Should carnivorous fish be added to the candy bait fish list, or should Physis be added to the carnivorous fish list?
Has anyone actually gotten those paints and candy weapons straight from fishing? I've been at it all day and never got any homestead items or candy items or paints straight from fishing. Only got them from the jars.
Okay, now what about homestead props? Has anyone gotten any of those that didn't come from the jars? I don't know anyone in game who did.
Well there's one more thing I question. Might be off topic sort of, but has anyone gotten a mandrake. I don't know anyone who got one, but I have surely gotten over 100 of each of the other herbs by now. I really doubt that it would be so extremely rare for no real reason, but I just want to make sure.
So I think I fished up something that wasn't added to the game files. Who wants to place bets I just missed the singing tree?
This has happened to me as well...at first I thought it was the homestead stones, but there are notifications for those...
Indeed there are, I bet it's one of the minor bugs they're addressing with the maintenance in 4 hours.
This happened to me both before and after the maintenance. I've heard that others have been able to fish up some homestead decorations, but it still seems to be glitched for me.
No stackable items as far as I see, but I definitely notice getting a nonexistant item randomly. You get skill training but not sound effect or announcement.
Hm, I also haven't gotten a single homestead item from the fishing...I really hope that's not what it is, cause I kind of wanted a sheep, even if they're pretty useless.
So far, I've gone through two tins and fished up two pure black Lyres (Color code 0000000). Is this an actual reward thing or am I just stupid lucky?
Nothing is a fixed color. You are just stupidly lucky. I have yet to grab a single lyre, but did fish a carnivorous fish for the fishing legend.
I've gotten about a dozen so far(from a little more than 1 stack of bait at rank 3 fishing), no repeat colors, no pure colors, But it does seem they tend to be aesthetically pleasing ones(nothing brown, nothing dull, and nothing that resembles vomit). 3 or 4 were off-white, but the shades were slightly different on all of them.
You can fish up Nekojima exclusive fish using the event bait, Salmon, Capelin, etc. And the recipes work.
But the dishes are untranslated, give no stats, and max out your body weight when eaten.
Not sure if that's worth noting, but I just found that out, heh.
The dishes do not max out your body size if you have a high enough Stamina pool. The dishes just have a high food recovery.
Wow, just how much hunger do they regen?
I mean, I was a bit hungry, with about 700 stam, and it made me explode as if I'd eaten 10 chocolates right after each other, haha!
Ah I just noticed that you added the Hunger info on each of the dishes.
Wow that is a LOT of hunger restored, haha.
I was just not hungry enough to not gain a ton of weight from all that recovery.
Alright that clears up that. I wonder if they're supposed to be so filling. Or if they're supposed to not have any stat buff.
They work similarly to the Silver Vine Tea (Also from Nekojima). But the effects only take place if you eat over 100%.
I'm just curious, but do these dishes normally act like this in JP Mabi where they're normally available, or is it just like this here because they weren't really supposed to be makeable?
Oh, but that's probably something that can't really be answered definitely, can it?
Just a minor question, is there any way to make the nekojima fish or dishes count towards fishing journal, cooking journal, or either exploration weapons? (It might effect the weapons without a visible entry.)
Probably trolls, but I'm not gonna touch it because I don't wanna have a silly revision war at the moment, better wait for an Admin first.
