Can other players interact with MY dragon, get their quests, etc.?
I completed the 5 star food quest but when I checked my inventory, none of the food I made was actually 5 star. I think, contrary to what is currently on the page, perfectly prepared 4 star food does count. That or my reforge (Cooking Quality Bonus 1 Level) somehow affected it.
Maybe I misread what was written... :/ On a somewhat related note, I did have a weird thing going where I had the 4 star and 5 star quests and made a 4 star dish, but it didn't count for either. I decided to do the other quests I had first and then the 4 star one completed when I tried cooking again.
So the only active quest for me is 4-star food...I made dozens....and dozens....of 4-star cheese breads, tomato basils, and vegetable canapes. NOthing's happening :x
CCing seemed to fixed it...or maybe I just made a higher quality 4-star...
4-Star dishes must be of 80+ Quailty or higher.
Channel Changing. It may actually have nothing to do with being unable to complete the quests.
It doesn't. Using some external files, Quest for 4 stars only complete at a quality of 80+. For 5-stars, I would assume 85+.
Found out, the saying "You cooked a Delicious meal" or somethin or other is well enough for the 4-star quest
Is anyone else having this issue where they cannot install their dragon into their homestead?
I did a simple mixing food, got the first objective done.
Got my dragon in my inventory, tried to install it, told me it costed 0 gold. Nothing happened.
Talking to mummy dragon several times and got more of them, and none of them worked. |:
Nevermind, found my solution!
I got a FIERCE, not Cute, FIERCE little dragon.
Why and how did this happen? Why isn't he "cute"?
...
Different animations as far as I know. Cute ones act all cuddly and lovable, fierce or wild ones keep the same animation;.
Does the box really give another wild? Nope's and Kiyoura's edits are conflicting with each other.
From what I hear on the forums, yes.
According to the mods on the mabi forum, the order of the quests in the quest list does matter. So if one got lvl 12 HS quest first, then a lvl 7 as the second quest, you wouldn't be able to complete the lvl 12 quest if your HS level is lower than 12.
Someone test out the other quests, I already did mine for now.
This is MY homestead! >:U
Anyway... It appears you're not allowed to use a campfire to cook in your own homestead. So, I went with the mixing option. That worked. Just a heads up for people that may get confused at this.
I've tried campkits, firewoods of all varieties (someone make me more finest wood...), and halloween campfire kits...ya you need to get a stove to cook in your own homestead.
It seems like all it does is give you a very low amount of EXP for the effort put into taming said dragon... It's not like you recieve the dragon as a actual 'pet' right?
It becomes an interesting fixture for your homestead...I haven't gotten anything else out of it. You get some type of reward after doing all of this.
My gf has r1 playing, r1 composing, and r1 knowledge. Using r1 scrolls she's having trouble getting great success for the dragon. After a bit of research, I found that there are very few (6) default songs that allow you to get great success while playing at r1. Will she just have to spam playing until the quest is finished, or is there another method?
You can spam r1 scores but will have to hope you get a Heavenly Performance (one with special animation).
I also fully ranked the basic three music skill, and ironically, I had more luck getting great successes playing default music than I did spamming Rank 1 scrolls. That might just be me, though.
If your girlfriend doesn't want to waste time, she may want to go with scroll-spamming route.
The only other alternative is to turn on auto-play and have her play default music while doing whatever else to spend the time in real life (browsing the net, eating, etc.) until she gets the five she needs.
I don't think there's anything that'll increase her chances of success.
There's also one other thing your gf can try out, but I'm not sure if it's practical: since recent music updates have you doing those stupid, exaggerated movements whenever you get a great success with a music skill, you can try using and cancelling Playing Instrument (with or without scrolls) until your character starts doing those movements, since it telegraphs when you'll get a great success. Once you see them, that's when you can leave your character alone and let them finish.
Do what I did...play > Cancel if not inspiring animation and repeat...process goes:
- play instrument with play skill
- Did not get inspiring animations? cancel and try again.
- play instrument with play skill
- Did not get inspiring animations? cancel and try again.
- play instrument with play skill
- Did not get inspiring animations? cancel and try again.
- Repeat until animation plays.
I would advise buying a cheap instrument, as you will burn dura quickly.
Or do Barry's Intermediate PTJ for the free instruments.
Shouldn't they be under the quest subheader and in the quest template? Why the weird table?
