Shouldn't a mention of who he actually is be put in?

Vindictus is a prologue to Mabinogi and in the most Recent update it is shown that he is a character from the game by the name of Keaghan. He was transformed after eating the heart of a Fomor.

Copain16:09, 16 June 2012

We've gone through this before with some other users, but Vindictus trivia or information is not relevant here. Especially spoilers to the storyline.

--Aramet (Talk)16:38, 16 June 2012

Even if it was true, DevCAT has confirmed on multiple locations that the story of Mabinogi/Mabinogi 2, Vindictus, and Husky Racing are not relevant to each other anymore.

Pyro - (Talk)17:03, 16 June 2012

Since when? I've never seen them state that the story wasn't connected. In fact, the fact that the main story ends there seems like the perfect place for the story to end so Mabinogi can begin...

Copain18:51, 16 June 2012

I'm just relaying what DevCAT said in an official statement, if you don't believe me, go ahead and look up their announcements. Point is, Vindictus has no place on this website.

Pyro - (Talk)19:35, 16 June 2012

Husky Racing? Dogsled racing has Mabi elements?

Infodude57520:04, 16 June 2012

Yes. o .o
[1]
Those NPCs seem familiar? The original name was Mabinogi: Husky Racing. Mabinogi 2 would actually be the fourth Mabinogi game.

Also, that isn't true. Keaghan only becomes Cichol because he wiped out the three Dragons who were the "seals" containing Cichol. Eating Verafim's heart just gave him enough power to defeat the third dragon. With all the dragons dead, their slayer becomes Cichol's embodiment.

Infodude57517:08, 16 June 2012

No vindictus trivia please.

Angevon (Talk)17:21, 16 June 2012

All I'm saying is wouldn't it be best to provide the most detail of a character we can? It is connected to said character.

Copain18:52, 16 June 2012

@Copain - The "most detail of a character we can" aspect may be true, but at the moment the wiki treats it focus as a...what's the word...self-contained game. All information is taken from Mabinogi as if Erinn's a big black box, with no reference coming from the outside. So info coming in from Vindictus, which is not directly related to Mabinogi, is out of place here. (You could argue what would constitute as "direct", I suppose, but considering Mabi and Vindictus has drastically different settings and no common characters (even if they're named same)...)

'Sides, even if Pyro's wrong and Nexon/devCAT never said it, we can't be sure anymore since in G15 Cichol and Morrighan were portrayed as kids - something that didn't happen in and wasn't explained in Vindictus.

@Pyro - ...That's new. (Mabinogi 2 would be the fifth Mabi-related game, then. If "Husky Racing" counts so should the Spot the Difference game(s).)

Akira22:25, 16 June 2012

If we include non-MMO minigames like spot the difference, there is way more than five. (Since if we include Husky Racing, then that would also include non-NA minigames.)

Pyro - (Talk)23:13, 16 June 2012

I want some answers. He gets KOed and explodes in Gen 11, but he suddenly reappears in Gen 12? Him being "alive" is more obvious in Gen 16.

Infodude57515:54, 5 June 2012

Nothing explained ingame yet, it's foreshadowing.

Pyro - (Talk)15:55, 5 June 2012

So what, did he fake death or something? Or did Falias somehow ressed him?

He was supposed to be gone(?) before Gen 1, according to Shiela, yet he keeps making comebacks...

Infodude57515:57, 5 June 2012

He was clearly struck down in G11. But my guess is that because he is a god, he was resurrected once more by the darkness...well, simply put, gods don't suddenly die like that. I'm sure it'll be explained why...hopefully a book has some answers...there's always something in the books

S•A•R•I•A15:58, 5 June 2012

Well, they may suddenly die like that because of the Brionac. However, all gods seem capable of revival, so far. And the ingame books made after C1 don't really have much helpful information. Some do but most don't and there aren't many after C1 either.

Pyro - (Talk)16:47, 5 June 2012

Oh yeah..didn't some of his spirit transfer to the Milletian?

S•A•R•I•A16:02, 5 June 2012

I think it was his power. The skill has the name "spirit" in it.

Infodude57516:03, 5 June 2012

Blegh...But I would think giving his power would also transfer a portion of his spirit...which may explain why he "resurrected" in Falias in G12.

S•A•R•I•A16:05, 5 June 2012

So he's Voldemort and we're Harry Potter?

Infodude57516:09, 5 June 2012

I was thinking more of..."As long as [Protagonist] exists then [Great Evil] shall always exist" sort of deals...kinda like Legend of Zelda...it's all skyward sword's fault.

S•A•R•I•A16:12, 5 June 2012

Cichol never really cursed us though, unless receiving his power is a curse.

Infodude57516:18, 5 June 2012

I don't think he wanted to curse us since he gave the Milletian the power to willingly bring enemies into a "brilliant annihilation."

S•A•R•I•A16:21, 5 June 2012

What are the chances we'll be able to use it against him?

Infodude57516:31, 5 June 2012

We'll just have to wait and see?

S•A•R•I•A16:53, 5 June 2012

Most likely. There's no answer in the game anywhere at present times. (Of coarse, that leaves out interviews.)

Pyro - (Talk)16:54, 5 June 2012

You know I just remembered...Shadow Spirit is suddenly replenished during G12's Finale...perhaps Cichol was behind that.

White Wing Staff?

How/where does it say that Cichol inspired it?

A staff rarely seen in Erinn, designed in the image of the White Winged God. Wielding this staff allows one's magical powers to increase more quickly.

—It's Description

It's a weapon made by the Fomors, their god is Cichol, he has White Wings. Put 2 and 2 together.

Pyro - (Talk)16:46, 22 November 2011

Not all Legendary Weapons are made by Fomors you know. Masterpiece Bow and the Caladbolg belonged to Portia and the Partholons, respectively, but the Imp somehow acquired it.
Also, Lugh also has White Wings, and he is sometimes called a God.

Infodude57511:30, 4 December 2011

True, but I doubt that's his true form.

Pyro - (Talk)17:41, 5 December 2011

Occupation

Cichol is the God of Fomors, but nowhere does it say he is the God of Darkness. Can anybody find any proof of him being the god of darkness? All that I had found was that he works in darkness. If not, should I remove or change that part?

Pyro - (Talk)17:23, 8 July 2011

I may be late, but it sounds like an exaggeration from a player. After all, he does use dark-based magic.

Trivia-Cichol Killing the Milletian

It is inaccurate to immediately say that Milletians cannot die.

From Tarlach's Record:

It is no more than a personal collection of hypothetical theories, but perhaps it will be useful to those who read this. It is my deepest wish that the theories recorded here will one day be tested for its legitimacy.

Tarlach never proved his theory that a Milletian cannot die. Also, multiple gods attempted to kill the Milletian, Neamhain is one example. I think they would know better. So I doubt Milletians are truly indestructible. I suggest that piece of trivia is removed or altered.

Pyro12:12, 4 April 2011

i think what cichol was trying to do was trap milletian in dungeon when they got incapaciated. (revive at nearest village doesnt exist apparently) as you can see in g10. Like, milletian couldnt rev himself/herself until Woboka used feather on us.
