Do checks ever expire?
Is there a certain period after which a check becomes unusable/nonredeemable? --Fulvia 18:16, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think so? That's how people deal with the bank limit, they store their gold in check form on their pets. -- ladywinter ~{talk page}~ 18:49, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- I think you're right. A couple people on the Mabi boards said the same thing. I'll edit the Bank page with this info, as it might be useful. --Fulvia 05:19, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

I sold a Big Gold Pouch with roughly 40k or so to Kelpie, I immediately got a bank transaction notice that the money was put directly into my bank (like tidying Kiosk).
How did this happen? Didn't NPCing stuff always flood inventories with gold and not go into bank?
Hey, is the 5m per character limit per character on your account overall, or per character on your account on your server?
I'm going to guess no.
Since it sounds more like the characters are sharing bank spaces.
To my understanding, characters on the same server conttribute to that server, while characters on other servers are counted serparately. So if I have 3 in alexina, and 4 in Mari, I can hold 15m on alexina while 20m can be held in Mari server. I don't know if it's cumulative and counts for both, the only way to find out is to find someone with characters on multiple servers that have actually reached their cap.
It's very confusing. The section will detail the rate to be 5%... and then the examples will act as if it's 10% (which it is, I believe. I looked up other sources of information. But since this page confused me so much.. I don't know anymore.)
Could someone more certain please fix that? Please.. Or at least make it clearer if it's actually accurate information.
Did they take it out sometime ago? I'm pretty sure I don't have any services active.
