Mineral Hail

Basic Information

The Girgashiy using Mineral Hail.

Possessed only by Girgashiy. Girgashiy uses this skill when its Health is at any point, but only uses it once every 40 seconds. Girgashiy crouches and channels magic to summon portals above all its enemies regardless from their distance from it. It then jumps up into the air and unavoidable mineral crystals rain down from the portals, then lands down right next to the player furthest from it. Players near Girgashiy when it prepares to use Mineral Hail will be pushed back but receive no damage. In Very Hard difficulty, the push-back radius is 1,500. If this is successful on at least one player, a booming sound effect will occur. Girgashiy cannot be attacked while it is preparing and using the skill. While it is preparing the skill, the screen will start to shake heavily. Mineral Hail ignores Mana Shield and invulnerability frames (e.g. Transformations).

Skill properties

• Damage dealt is based on the difficulty of the raid:
  • Easy/Generation 19: 25% of maximum HP
  • Normal/Solo: 50% of maximum HP
  • Hard/Very Hard: 105% of maximum HP
• The time it takes for Girgashiy to fully load and execute the skill is based on the difficulty of the raid:
  • Easy/Generation 19: 5 seconds
  • Normal: 4 seconds
  • Hard/Very Hard: 3 seconds
• Damage from Mineral Hail can be lowered with Shield of Trust and the auto-defense from Heavy Armor Mastery and Shield Mastery or cancelled out by Wings of Eclipse.
  • If Shield of Trust blocks Mineral Hail, Girgashiy will be briefly stunned when it lands. The time of its stun is based on the difficulty of the raid:
    • Easy/Generation 19: 7 seconds
    • Normal: 6 seconds
    • Hard: 5 seconds
    • Very Hard: 4 seconds
    • Using Celestial Spike on Girgashiy during this state will extend the stun. This is indicated when Girgashiy falls on its knees.
      • This also trains Celestial Spike's "Successfully counter an Apostle's Mineral Hail attack with Celestial Spike." Performing this 50 times also grants Weighed Conscience.
      • Using Judgment Blade while Girgashiy is stunned by Celestial Spike trains "Smite a fully-bound Apostle after countering Mineral Hail with Celestial Spike." Performing this 50 times also grants Binding Needle.
