Description

It's that time of year again, where an island powered by Palala opens its path once more for a month. Set sail for Doki Doki Island where the fish and love are plentiful as Milletians are invited in their search to find love before their next rebirth. [1]

Details

  • Log in to receive the Setting Sail for Romance quest.
  • To go to Doki Doki Island, talk to Dr. Joe the Historian, located in front of the Dunbarton school.
    • On your first visit, Dr. Joe will always take you to the Southeast Beach.
    • After visiting Doki Doki Island, talking to Dr. Joe will send you to the Town Square of Doki Doki Island.
      • Additionally you can go to Doki Doki Island using the Enter button in the Doki Doki Island event window, which will send you to the Town Square of Doki Doki Island.
  • To leave the island, talk to Elder Karenza, located near the Town Square of Doki Doki Island.
    • Additionally you can leave the island using the Exit button in the Doki Doki Island event window, which will send you to Dunbarton near Dr. Joe

Soulmate

Couples Flight.
  • To acquire a Soulmate, players can right-click on any other player and send a direct invite.
    • Players can also talk to the Soulmate Manager Grego to register a dating profile and automatically find a match.
    • You may leave your Soulmate at any time.
    • Enabling Auto Refuse Soulmates will cause you to automatically refuse any Soulmate requests.
  • The Doki Doki Island event window has the name and location of your Soulmate, the time spent with them, and the amount of Doki Doki Points you have earned.
    • Soulmate's Location is marked "Unknown" if the soulmate is offline, in a different channel, inside a building, or in any Homestead.
  • Your Soulmate will be indicated with a white triangle on the Minimap if they are close to you.

Doki Doki Points

  • Once per day, Soulmates earn 0.3 Doki Doki Points simply by being within 20 Meters of each other at any location for 5 minutes. (Verification needed for time)


Boom Box Minigame

  • The Boom Box Minigame will reward 0.5 Doki Doki Points if completed either solo or with a soulmate
    • The Boom Box Minigame uses the WASD and Spacebar keys to dance to a sequence.
    • Players have 5 seconds to type in a sequence correctly.
    • Mistyping in a sequence will prevent any further progression on that sequence.
    • The score is based on total points scored; even if one partner does not score any points, it is still possible to meet this requirement.
      • One point is obtained per correct button pressed, regardless of completion.
      • Three additional points are awarded for each completed sequence.
    • The Boom Box Minigame can be completed any number of times daily, but will only reward Doki Doki Points once per day

Depths of the Heart Test

  • Once per real-life day, resetting at 12:00am PST100, Soulmates can attempt the Depths of the Heart Test from one of the Townsperson Spreading Love.
    • The test is a single two-choice question with a 10 second time limit.
    • 0.7 (0.5 if solo) Doki Doki Points are given to participants regardless of the outcome of the test.
    • A Lovely Doki Doki Commemorative Box is given to participants regardless of the outcome of the test.

Soulmate Rewards

Harmony Torch

  • At the Town Square is the Harmony Torch. If players use a Campfire near the Harmony Torch and then Rest next to the campfire for 5 minutes, they will receive 0.15 (0.1) Doki Doki Points (up to 6 times per day), a Lovely Doki Doki Commemorative Box and the Lovey Dovey buff.
    • The timer does not reset if you stand up or the campfire expires, and will resume once the you sit back down near a campfire.
    • The notice erroneously appears when sitting down at a campfire at any location.
    • The Campfire Spirit counts as a regular Campfire for these purposes and lasts longer.

Concert Hall

Doki Doki Island Concert Hall
  • The Doki Doki Island Concert Hall can be reserved by Party Leaders for 5 to 30 minutes.
    • The performance will start after a 1 minutes set-up period.
      • Nearby Party members will be teleported onto the stage.
      • If no one from the Party is near enough to be teleported or already on the stage, the reservation will be canceled.
    • Only one Party can perform at a time and only one Party can preemptively queue up for the next performance.
  • The Stage Manager Bard Triphina can assist Party members in accessing the stage.
    • There is no way to leave the stage early besides leaving the Party.
      • If everyone leaves the Party, the reservation will be canceled.
  • The Doki Doki Island Concert Hall is considerably smaller than other Concert Halls.
  • During the performance, non-performers are restricted in various ways:
    • Their chat bubbles are not shown.

Cook, Serve, Doki Doki!

  • At the Festival Market, talk to Doki Doki Chef Maisie, and select "Help Run Doki Doki Restaurant", then select "Start the Cook, Serve, Doki Doki! Mission.
    • From here you can select "Not now." to start the Minigame, "Yes please." to receive an explanation on how to play the Minigame, "Change Base Reward" to select between "Combat EXP" and "Exploration EXP", and "End Conversation" to leave.
  • Once in the Minigame, talk to Doki Doki Chef Maisie, and select "Start helping out at the restaurant" you will have 3 minutes to serve customers, and get as many points as you can.
    • A customer will appear at one of the 9 tables, above them will be an icon as well as a timer telling you which of the 4 dishes they desire. You will have ~40 seconds to deliver their desired dish which is done by moving into the green circle around their table, and a new customer will arrive every ~30 seconds.
      • Successfully delivering their desired dish will earn you 10 points, as well as an additional 5 when they leave, if you take to long however you will lose 10 points.
    • There are 4 carts containing the ingredients used for the Minigame, from left to right are the ingredients for Desserts, Pasta, Steak, and Salad. Click the cart containing the ingredient you need, then use the Cooking skill to create the dish.
    • After a customer has eaten their meal, they will leave behind a messy table, you will have ~30 seconds to clean it which is done by moving into the red circle around the table, successfully cleaning a table earns you 10 points, failing to do so loses you 10 points.
  • When you've completed the Minigame you will receive rewards based on how many points you obtained, the minimum amount of points is -50, and the maximum is 150.

Natural Dye

  • Near the Festival Market, you can create Natural Dye Ampoules by registering a main character at the Natural Dye Helper.
    • Once registered talk to her to start combining ingredients to make a Natural Dye Ampoule.
  • Dyes are created in a Minigame:
    • The player controls a bowl using the Arrow Keys and the goal is to catch falling Blueberry.png Blueberries, Berry.png Berries, and Base Herb.png Base Herbs.
      • Fresh ingredients add values to the Dye's RGB while rotten, desaturated ingredients subtract values from the Dye's RGB.
      • Ingredient values can be x1, x2, or x3.
    • Pressing Spacebar changes the multiplier for how much value is added to the RGB.
      • The multiplier starts at x1 and progresses to x2, x5, and x10 until it loops around again.
    • If the RGB value exceeds 255 or falls below 0 for any of the three color values, the Minigame fails and must be restarted.
      • You must last the whole duration of the Minigame in order to claim a Natural Dye Ampoule and/or a Fixed Dye Ampoule.
    • The Minigame can be restarted an infinite number of times.
  • Once the Dye is made you can choose to click the Dye Ampoule or Metal Dye Ampoule buttons located in the bottom right-hand corner to collect a Fixed Dye Ampoule (Event) or Fixed Metal Dye Ampoule (Event) in the same color.
    • The Fixed Dyes do not expire but cannot be traded.
    • You can only get 1 Fixed Color Dye Ampoule or Fixed Color Metal Dye Ampoule a day. The time resets at 7:00am PST100.
  • Natural Dye Ampoule may be equipped and used to dye the sheets/flags around the island a new color.
    • Click the sheet to use the dye.
    • By doing this once daily the you will receive 3 Cat's Paws and a Doki Doki Commemorative Box. The time resets at 7:00am PST100.
    • Infinite amounts of Natural Dye Ampoules may be obtained, but Cat's Paws are only given once daily.

Doki Doki Event Shop

  • We wouldn't be a very good travel destination without a souvenir shop!
  • Check with Elder Karenza to see the shop yourself.

Doki Doki Island Part-Time Jobs

  • Talk to Elder Karenza, choose "Doki Doki Island Exclusive Part-Time Job", and then select individual jobs.
    • You can obtain all 6 jobs simultaneously.
    • All 6 jobs require you to return the obtained items back to Elder Karenza.
  • These quests reset every day at 7:00am PST100.
    • Quests received from the previous day can be completed past the reset time, and will not count for completion of the same quest on the current day.
    • You cannot receive the quest again if you give it up.
