This produces firewood if built on a Homestead.

The Chopping Block is a gathering item for Homesteads that is used to collect Firewood with a Lumber Axe.

Security settings are available to prevent or allow certain players from using it.

Extra firewood can be gathered if a Fir Tree or Snowfield Tree 2 is placed nearby.

• Gathering wood from this requires a Lumber Axe.
• Provides 4 successful gathers before emptying. Takes 120 seconds to regenerate.
  • An adjacent Fir Tree or Snowfield Tree 2 provides one extra gather. The bonus does not stack.
    • Adjacency, in this context, means that there is at least one square from each object touching.
    • Diagonals count, so to be efficient you could fit eight chopping blocks around one tree.
