Upon the sight of Leymore and the Shadow Hero, Amos seals the gate and flees. Leymore feels that it would be a good idea to cut him off.

For two more times, Amos flees. Eventually, he is trapped in a corner with Leymore. Amos explains that the Homunculus Experiment was far from over and the Corrupt Alchemists are performing a new type of alchemy: Heat Buster. Leymore decides to take him into custody.
