Use Magnum Shot to defeat as many monsters as you can within the time limit. Dealing major damage results in a higher score. As the test rank increases, stronger monsters will appear and you will need a higher score to pass the test.

General Tips

  • Having a high-ranked Critical Hit skill may make the test easier.
  • In general, Archery DPS is maximized when firing at 80% aim.
  • Now that aim rate has changed so that archery skills always hit, the last wave of bonus monsters is by far the best place to gather points, since it is no longer necessary (sometimes even detrimental) to aim. Just spam magnum; low damage is made up for by the sheer number of +100 point procs from every hit.
    • The rest of the test should consist of getting to the final phase as fast as possible, without regard for points. Using Windmill as much as possible is advised, with occasional use of Crash Shot when Windmill is on cooldown or to stun large groups of enemies. Magnum Shot itself, ironically, should be avoided except when facing individual targets when Windmill is on cooldown.
    • As such, it would help to have Windmill at Dan 3 and Crash Shot at least at Rank 1 for this test.
    • Another method would be to use Magnum in the first wave, then a mix of Crash shot and windmill in the second and third waves.
  • Remember that Magnum Shot does have a very small AoE radius (of massively reduced damage), so aiming at large clusters of monsters can help.
  • Using the tab key to switch targets and the skill hotkey to fire reduces the chance that you will accidentally start aiming at a different monster instead of firing.
