Are you sure it's from the event itself or received upon equipping the style suit? I just want to make sure
Would you stop wearing black equipment when you use the black background for your pictures?
Sorry, I always forget to take off my hebona robe v.v Keep reminding myself >.< Thank you for reminding me again D:
Will you be doing all the rest of Giant images too, or should I?
If you want to o:
So much cropping @_@;;
Talk:Status#Glow Effect in gallery 15143. I say this because the Avon effect is the same one was the healing effect...
The healing and avon shield effects are identical, therefore you'd need to either replace the healing one with a gif (like you meant to) or just add a note on the healing picture that it is also used for Avon Shield's charge effect. (Also, gifs aren't such a good idea for thumb/gallery format because resizing gifs can make the image illegible.)
I'll see what I can do~ :3
I'd rather do this than keep reverting. I do think I just goofed when I thought she posted hers first, but I guess it doesn't matter who went first. All I know is that she replaced your front photo because it was on an angle, which is not allowed. Including posting other images of her own to be consistent. Then I noticed that she went in and replaced her own photos because her own photos looked too close to white to her. Which is perfectly fine replacing images that look close to white, and using clothing of a solid colour that is not too light or too dark, close to white or black. That she did do, to insure that they were not too close to white. Her first upload of them were close to white, just as well as yours are too, so they're almost identical. Personally, if I posted clothing that was a very dark blue or purple, or very light blue, if it looked too close to white, I would change it. As I did for my Targe shield images. If anything, the green shoes should remain up because they are the furthest from white, and that's why she fixed her own. Hopefully it won't continue because reverting sucks, to be honest, and I'd rather not get into it.
Adding: I hope you know, reverting or uploading images that appear white, you're still not supposed to do that. If it appears white, you're supposed to leave the images alone that fit the policy. Please stop that. |:
None of my images are ever white...I don't own anything that is white except my japanese tradional. The white images I do upload occasionally are always at the courtesy of other players on my server.
It does not appear to be white, and the image was fine as it is. o.o
Users who have uploaded images that appear to be white have gotten in trouble and have asked to change them. Your shoes do indeed appear white, as well as the headdress. It is fine, yes as far as the rest of it. But colours that appear to white or are close to white should not be here. If the item is owned by another person, that's fine, but Seecret did replace her own because hers looked white, just like yours. The green ones are fine, and the lighter ones are too close to white to stay there. As well as the white looking rose on the headdress. :/
You are welcome. That's why when I do images, and if it is an item I own myself, if I can I dye it brown or something that is nowhere near white or black when I know I can just replace the brown later. Just so it's better, y'know?
I don't buy NX with real life money so I usually can't afford to do that with dyes. XD But thanks~
High-res is fine and all but please take note that if an image already satisfies the wiki criteria, there is no need to replace it with an even higher res. Also there is no need to replace images that already fulfill the criteria and efficiently shows enough detail.
Just a question, but does the wiki prefer outline rendering or no outline rendering? I've seen that there has been some debate over it, and personally I prefer no outline rendering unless it's for some certain items (such as the swim trunks and the witch robe)
Thanks!
Ideally, outline rendering should be turned off, but if the image in question shows enough detail, then a single pixel border shouldn't be a problem. In most cases, items show up fine if the outline is off. However, it can be used to separate items if they are all a single shade of color that matches the clothing or to show the sleeve of items if the sleeve appears to blend in with the clothing. Outline rendering should not be used if the items would appear to be too small, or the zoom was not sufficient.
as for High-res, if the image becomes too big, it may cause loading errors. Ideally, large images aren't used unless it is for world maps. I don't mind it, but if it's too big, then it'll take up server bandwidth or something (I'm not familiar with this :x)
P: Ah, alright~ Thank you. ^^ I was always under that impression xD
Call me a perv, but that blaze pic you just posted probably is NSFW. Wear something a little less revealing, please?
Give me more mana. .___.But I just noticed that, thanks. xD;
Fine, I guess for swim trunks, it doesn't really matter.
Btw, how do you manage to take such enormous pics anyways? I don't recall that screenshot function being that effective...
Apparently I have a super huge screen. .__.
...at least, that's what my real life friends tell me..
Hello, I just wanted to ask if you don't upload any images with black and/or white since it messes with details of most items. It is against the policy and they would need to be replaced. If you could replace your images without white that would be great! Thanks!
I perfectly understand dear, but those items are not mine. I left them there because there was no image originally, and having an image with white or black is better than nothing, yes? :3
Thank you~ ^^
Oh that's definitely fine, maybe next time in the reason of upload put down that it's a placeholder ^^
I actually share that with my in-game brother (has a girl character), and I had to dye the stockings for that in order to put it on the wiki. Unfortunately, they are black again so I can't unless I had a fixed black xD
Ah, I see. hehe x3;
Pretty amazing that someone has actually got one of these. If you did anyway, would you mind posting photos of the actual hat equipped as well? Or even have the owner model for you. The wiki needs it, and I don't know of anyone else with it. Interested on what it looks like, myself. o.o
Most clothing in game cover the gloves with skirts, or cover the gloves with sleeves. The most suitable clothing I found without going nude is the Flamerider F.
I'm sorry :c
So why no just leave it be if you don't have anything better? I'm sure accuracy is more important than resolution.
Also, is your chocolate headband the same one as in the previous pictures? The parts that go down to the ears are gone...
If you dislike, you can always revert. o-o
think you can retake them without glow effects? the * key on the Number pad area will turn it off.
You can also refer to this Perfect Pictures For Wiki Guide for future images you may upload ~
Don't worry about it, it took me a while too. lol just remember that although your images are wiki-friendly, the glow is distracting. Just keep that in mind with any future uploads and you'll be fine ~
Done~ ^^
