Alissa
"Do you know the Production Mastery skill?" quest: (Character was a Human from Uladh)
- Verbatim Quest Details: How are you? I'm Alissa. I care for the mill in Tir Chonaill. Aren't you curious about the Production Mastery skill? If you are, meet me in front of the windmill in Tir Chonaill.
- Verbatim Requirements: Talk to Alissa
- Verbatim Rewards List: 50 Experience Point
- Conversation with Alissa:
- Hey, it's you, Player Name! I was wondering why you didn't come to see me.
- Have you heard of the Production Mastery skill? It's a skill that's needed for both gathering and crafting. You can make things more easily if you know this skill.
- You will have more Stamina, and you will have a better success rate at gathering and crafting. Your dexterity will increase as well.
- Note that this is not a separate skill. The skill will activate automatically whenever you gather things or do some crafting, so you don't need to worry about learning it.
- Now that I told you about the skill, you will be able to get the Production Mastery skill when you complete the quest.
- Received after clicking on the Complete button for the quest:
- The on-screen message: You have gained knowledge about the Production Mastery skill.
- The on-screen message: Production Mastery skill +100.00 (practice)
- The Production Mastery skill (novice level and fully ranked).
- 50 experience points.
Duncan
Using the "Goddess Morrighan" keyword:
- You mean Goddess Morrighan? If it's about the Goddess, you're better off speaking to Priest Meven...
Coming-of-Age Ceremony quest: (Character was a Human from Uladh)
- Talk to Duncan when a player becomes 20 years old.
- Oh, so finally you are here. Player Name. Now you are a respectable adult too. And you must have earned necessary titles for your age...
- Up till now, the age limit for adulthood was 18, but in Erinn, the druid gives a ceremony for youths of the age like you and this special event is so they remember the taboo 'geis' which should never be violated.
- During the 2nd Mag Tuired War kids not even in their 20s fought as soldiers and the meaning of the adulthood ceremony was lost...
- Nowadays the adulthood ceremony reminds people to take responsibility for their own actions. And also to congratulate them for growing up to be healthy and respectable adults.
- Under these circumstances, I cingratulate you once again. Believe in yourself and never regret the decisions you make as you walk your way through adulthood. This is about all I have to say for now.
- By the way, Nao forgot to give you this and asked me to give you this gift. Press the Mission Complete button to receive it. Nao seems to be looking after you. Ha ha...
A Traditional Game quest
- The quest is automatically received when a player logs on during the Mabinogi 2nd Anniversary Event.
- A player can chose to give up on this quest, by clicking on the "Give Up" button in the lower right corner of the quest's information window.
- If not completed during the event then the quest remains listed in a players Quest window until they choose to quit it by using the "Give Up" button mentioned above. The quest cannot be completed after the event ends.
- Verbatim Quest Details: It's me, Duncan. I wish to tell you a little bit about a traditional game we play here in Erinn. -Duncan-
- Verbatim Requirements:
- The wording for the second and third requirements are blank initially but are revealed after a prior requirement is completed.
- Talk to Duncan
- Buy a Seesaw Construction Kit and Jump for the Moon!
- ?????????
- The wording for the second and third requirements are blank initially but are revealed after a prior requirement is completed.
- Verbatim Rewards List:
- 1 Dairy Cow Costume
- 1000 Experience Point
- Talked to Duncan and after a standard greeting the following conversation automatically begins.
- There's a great traditional game that we play here in Erinn. It's a seesaw game called Jump for the Moon. First, you create a big seesaw using a Seesaw Construction Kit. Next, two people stand atop either end of the seesaw. Then, they jump!
- The moment those two people breathe and jump in harmony, they will experience a feeling like no other, like flying through the air! I'll give you a Seesaw Construction Kit to get you started. Give it a try.
- You can purchase more kits from the General Shop. Now, go ahead. Try jumping for the moon! If you can jump high enough, perhaps something extraordinary will happen...?
- If you have anything else to ask, let me know.
- The event's conversation ends and Duncan's standard menu choices are given.
- Note: Unlike Duncan stated in the above conversation, he does not give a player a Seesaw Construction Kit.
- First quest requirement is marked "Complete".
- Obtained the text for the second quest requirement.
- No further information was obtained as I was unable to jump to the moon.
Endelyon
Playing Instruments quest: (Character was a Human from Uladh)
- Verbatim Quest Details: This is Endylon of the Church. If you are interested in instruments, let me know. - Endelyon -
- Verbatim Requirements: Talk to Endelyon at the Church
- Verbatim Rewards List: 900 Experience Point
- Conversation with Endylon:
- Ah, you're here. May the blessings of Lymilark be with you in every step of the way. There are some people who think of playing instruments very highly, but it's really not that difficult. Just hold on to the instrument, and you'll be able to play a semblance of music. Of course, it requires hours of practice if you plan on bringing tears to your special someone.
- I have something for you. Here, it's a Lute. Hahaha... no worries, it's yours for free. Here's hoping that your amazing performance may inspire others into buying instruments here.
- Lute is the perfect instrument to play for beginners. Just hold on to it with your hand. As you play your beautiful music amidst the birds chirping and the fresh smell of grass filling the air, you'll feel the blessings of Lymilark breezing through.
- Received a Lute on finishing the conversation with Endelyon.
- Received 900 experience points after clicking on the Complete button for the quest.
Ferghus
April Fool's Event
- Log on only(?) during the 1st of April, 2010.
- The player ends up in the Soul Stream instead of Erinn.
- Ferghus floats out of the sky instead of Nao. He follows Nao's routine of twirling as he lands (but stumbles and nearly falls over) and is accompanied by Nao's theme music but luckily he is wearing his usual clothing and not Nao's dress.
- There are no other menu choices except for continuing a single conversation.
- The following description is given when Ferghus is clicked on to start a conversation;
- He is wearing a simple black vest. And his trimmed beard has a mysterious quality about it that is rather mesmerizing. His nicely tanned, bronzed skin that glows in the sun and his muscular build seem rather otherworldly, perhaps even out of place.
- Ferghus' portrait is his standard one when the following conversation begins;
- Nice to see you,
- I have a special gift for you, since it's a special day...
- (Ferghus takes something out of his pocket and hands it to you.)
- Don't look at it now. Just check your Inventory later.
- (Ferghus smiles at you.)
- Thank you for visiting...
- After the conversation and Nao's theme music ends, Ferghus, instead of floating upwards, jumps into the air, briefly runs while floating and then comically swims (using the breaststroke?) up into the sky. These manoeuvres are accompanied with bouncing sound effects.
- The Soul Stream then fades away and the player ends up in Erinn.
- The gift Ferghus gives is a Ferghus's Free Repair Coupon and it's automatically placed in a player's inventory when they eventually end up in Erinn.
Using a Ferghus's Free Repair Coupon
- Ferghus' repair success rate is still quoted as 90%. Presumably, except for the free price tag and change in conversation, using a Ferghus Free Repair Coupon doesn't change anything else in regard to his Blacksmith Repairs.
- Choose to have Ferghus do some repairs and he says the following;
- Well, well, well. You have one of my Free Repair coupons. Great! What would you like to have repaired? I'll do it for free, as promised.
- As stated Ferghus didn't charge for a successful repair (and doesn't charge for unsuccessful repairs anyway).
- The coupon disappears after a single repair is completed, whether that single repair is chosen to be a "1 Point Repair" or a "Perfect Repair".
- If the repair is successful for a single point of durability then Ferghus will state;
- There you go! The durability's been raised by 1 point. The repair's complete now. How do you like the fact that I'm doing such a flawless job on the repair even though it's free? Doesn't it just warm your heart? Hahaha...
- If the repair is successful for a number of points of durability then Ferghus will state;
- Alrighty! The repair's done. I have to say my work is flawless, even though I'm doing it for free! Hahaha...
- If the repair is not entirely successful for a number of points of durability then Ferghus will state;
- The repair's done. Unfortunately, x errors were made. I'm sorry, but I could only repair n point(s). You can't complain, though. You get what you pay for! Hahaha...
Ffion
Not a conversation but some of Ffion's random, general public comments (and singing?):
- Given in alphabetical order.
- A cute little Forest Lizard is petting its own shiny tail. Pouring water from the Lutra River, it washes its golden scales. It smiles, reveling, and innocently spreads the claws on its feet.
- Ahh... I wonder where people come from and where people are going...
- Argh, I'm so full.
- Ask me anything you'd like to know.
- Does anyone want to learn about expeditions?
- Ffion likes books with lots of pictures.
- How far is Uladh from here.
- I don't know if I can last until snack time.
- I want a chocolate chip cookie.
- I want a chocolate torte.
- I want some cheese cake.
- I want some hot chocolate.
- I wonder what Alexina is up to now.
- Thump, thump
- Where are you from?
First Continental Warp of a Human (from Uladh) to Iria:
- Player is warped to the Human tutorial area of Iria.
- Ffion and a Crystal Ball (on a small table) are near where the player first appears.
- By left clicking on Ffion first the following conversation occurs:
- Oh?
- (She looks straight in my face, then smiles a bright smile)
- Another person from Soul Stream! I'm telling you, I made the right decision by coming here! There are so many very interesting people who come by all the time.
- HI! I'm Ffion. Look, I'm a lot older than I look. But let's just be cool and talk casually, haha, although I don't think I could take you talking to me condescendingly.
- Wait a minute... Haven't you seen Tin around Tir Chonail (sic)? He's like so much younger than me, but he's always talking to me as if he's like my age or something! Anyway, I hope he's regretting his past behavior toward me, hee hee.
- In any case, is this your first time in Iria? I think your going to need some help.
- Iria is a newly-discovered frontier. So a lot of the explorers exploring the various parts of Iria discover all sorts of artifacts and exchange information with each other here as well.
- Received "Head to Qilla Base Camp" keyword.
- There are a lot of people from Erinn, across the waters from Uladh, but most of them are Milletians like yourself, who've crossed the Soul Stream.
- I will let you know more details about things that you'll need to know to survive Iria a bit later, for now, let me tell you a bit about going on expeditions.
- You'll notice later but there is a camp for explorers here in Iria. Both Milletians as well as people from Erinn all stay around there.
- You'll see that there are a lot of people that ask for favors around here. People will put up requests on the Quest Board, asking for whatever help they can get. If you complete a quest that you find on the Quest Board you will be able to receive the rewards given by the person that you have helped.
- You see this Crystal Ball next to me? This is something I made up for newcomers like you. Click on the Crystal Ball to challenge yourself to this quest. And just come talk to me if you have any questions about quests.
- If you want to quit a quest and go to the Base Camp, click on 'Go (sic) to Qilla Base Camp' to talk to me. Got it?
- Is there anything else you'd like to know about?
- I hope you discover a lot of new things here. see you later.
Standard greetings:
- No. 1:
- Oh?
- (She looks straight in my face, then smiles a bright smile)
- Another person from Soul Stream! I'm telling you, I made the right decision by coming here! There are so many very interesting people who come by all the time.
- What should we talk about?
- No. 2:
- Hey, have you looked around? It's pretty big here, no?
- What should we talk about?
Standard farewell:
- I hope you discover a lot of new things here. See you later.
- After completing all the beginner quests given by the Crystal Ball then Ffion adds the following to her farewell:
- Camera angle changes to point in the direction of Qilla Base Camp.
- If you go all the way this way, you'll be able to reach the Base Camp. Hope you enjoy your explorations!
- Unknown if this occurs when rebirthing a Human in Iria, that has also completed all the beginner quests in a previous visit.
No knowledge response:
- Answer given when an NPC doesn't have a specific dialog for a keyword.
- This is it for me! If I were a true explorer, I'd be going out to the world to experience everything, and to learn the secrets of this world.
Using the "Private Story" keyword:
- I'm Ffion! Please accent the front part of the name.
- A lot of people ask me about my age... Hey, you've met Tin before, right? Well, just know that I'm at least 3 years older than him, so... You catch my drift?
Using the "Nearby Rumors" keyword:
- Well, I have a particular love for animals. So, when I heard that you can see all sorts of amazing animals in Iria, far more interesting than the ones you see in zoos back home, I came over as soon as the nautical route opened up.
- But now that I've come here, I see that the land is quite vast and wide. I think it is going to take quite some time to explore the entire continent. But while I'm here, I plan to just take my time and enjoy myself.
Using the Skills keyword:
- Have you, by chance, heard of the saying that goes like this? "You can't teach an old dog new tricks..." Goodness... Am I getting old already? I don't notice any new skills or anything like that nowadays.
Using the "Part-Time Jobs" keyword:
- The Qilla Base Camp is fairly new. And I've heard that there's a huge demand for helpers around the camp grounds. If you're looking for some part-time work, it might not be a bad idea to go stop by the camp.
Using the "Classes and Training" keyword:
- You can attend classes and get training from instructors in school but you can also learn a lot simply by reading books. There aren't any schools around here so if you're interested in learning some new knowledge, consider reading up about it.
Using the "General Shop" keyword:
- Wait, what do you need to find a General Shop for? Well anyway, the closest General Shop nearby is the one in the Qilla Base Camp. There are other shops there too, so you should look around.
Using the "Healer's House" keyword:
- Hello! Hello! I have a stomach ache. What do I do if I have a stomach ache and have a fever?
- That's when you should go see the Healer right away!
Using the Inn keyword:
- Whenever it starts getting dark while you're on the road, you start feeling sleepy and hungry and all that. That's a place made for such situations, to get some rest.
Using the Bank keyword:
- I'd heard that an Erskin Bank branch office had opened at the Qilla Base Camp so I went over to check out what I thought would be a pretty fancy building or something. Turns out, it was nothing more than a little ol' tent with an obnoxious, loud-mouthed girl handling the bank's business.
Using the Blacksmith keyword:
Using the Restaurant keyword:
- Oh my favorite layered cheesecake, chocolate tort and chocolate chip cookies... Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
Using the "Weapons Shop" keyword:
- There is Nicca's weapon shop on the Qilla Base Camp...
Using the "Clothing Shop" keyword:
- I don't know about being sooooo up and up on trends... It's almost tacky.
Using the Bookstore keyword:
- I, Ffion, don't like books with too many words! I like books with lots of pictures.
Using the "Ranged Attack" keyword:
- There are people who use things like these to really harm the weaker animals. I just think it is so cruel.
Using the "Playing Instrument" keyword:
Using the Gathering keyword:
- Consistency in collecting is not as easy as you'd like to think. But there's certainly a sense of reward that directly results from your efforts.
Using the "Town Square" keyword:
- I don't know of a better place to run around and play than the vast town square.
Using the Reservoir keyword:
- Some people think that life in Iria will get better only when more conveniences, such as a reservoir, are built. I personally don't find that there's anything wrong with keeping Iria just the way it is, in its natural state.
Using the Farmland keyword:
- Have you ever worked in a farm? It's not as easy as you'd think and you really have to be very diligent.
Using the Windmill keyword:
- Yes, I've seen it back in Tir Chonaill. The windmill, that spins round and round according to the wind.
Using the "Adelia Stream" keyword:
- There is Lutra River in Iria, which is at least tens of hundreds, no, tens of thousands of times, bigger than the Adelia Stream. Have you been there?
Using the "Chief's House" keyword:
- There needs to be a town in order for there to be a Town Chief, right? There is a little place called the Qilla Base Camp nearby but... It's still relatively small so I'm not sure that it'd qualify as a town per se.
- Anyway, seeing how there are so many artifacts scattered throughout Iria, I'm gathering that there must have been quite a few towns that had flourished in this region in the past.
Using the Church keyword:
- The older I get, the more I think that maybe we all need a little bit of religion in our lives.
Using the School keyword:
- Huh? There aren't any schools around here at the moment, but there might be some new schools forming eventually, who knows. Don't tell me you've come all this way in search of a school?
Using the "Campfire Skill" keyword:
- You can't forget about songs when you're talking about campfires! La la la. A cute little Forest Lizard is petting its own shiny tail. Pouring water from the Lutra River, it washes its golden scales. It smiles, reveling, and innocently spreads the claws on its feet. La la la. Whaddya think? Wanna hear another one?
- A cute little Forest Lizard is petting its own shiny tail. Pouring water from the Lutra River, it washes its golden scales. It smiles, reveling, and innocently spreads the claws on its feet. La la la.
- Uh... what's with that look on your face?
Using the "a Friend of Nao" keyword:
- Speaking of friends... I have a friend named Tin. I mean, he's not exactly a friend... He's more like someone I've known for a very long time that I'll hang out with once in a while.
- He's just such a punk, that's why I wouldn't quite call him a friend. He's like so much younger than me, but he's always talking to me as if he's like my age or something!
Using the Graveyard keyword:
Using the "Head to Qilla Base Camp" keyword:
- The following occurs whether the beginner quests given by the Crystal Ball haven't been started, only some are completed or if all of them have been completed.
- Do you want to quit all your quests and just head on over to the Qilla Base Camp? It would help if you were to learn a simple expedition lesson while you're here.
- Conversation choices given with the above statement by Ffion:
- "Continue Quest":
- The Travel Diary opens with the following comment by Ffion.
- Good thinking. Finish this quest and it is sure to help you in Iria.
- "Quit Quest":
- You're sure, right? You can't just come back here on a whim you know.
- Conversation choices given with the above statement by Ffion:
- "Quit Quest":
- Ok, well I wish you the best in all your adventures. Bye.
- Warped into the middle of Qilla Base Camp.
- Lose the Head to Qilla Base Camp keyword.
- "Continue Quest" - same as the original conversation choice of "Continue Quest"
- "Quit Quest":
- "Continue Quest":
Using the "Gift to Nao" keyword:
- There's something really strange about gifts. Receiving gifts from others is definitely a great feeling, but there's a certain thrill about giving gifts to others too.
Using the "Fishing Skill" keyword:
- I've tried a dish made of the fish that was caught. But you know, I don't know what it is, I can't seem to get myself to eat anything that's got an eyeball on it!

- Don't forget to go and click on the 'complete' button to complete the quest after you're done talking to me.
- Okay, let's talk quickly about how to sketch. Sketching is a method of keeping a record of things that you see while you are exploring so that you can use them as clues later on.
- Let's say you're carrying around a blank piece of paper, and you discover something special that you'd like to sketch! Click on the 'I' key and open your inventory, then right-click on your mouse and select 'Use' and you will be ready to draw a sketch.
- Next, use the mouse's cursor to click on the object you'd like to sketch, and you will be able to make a sketch. When you are done sketching, you will be able to take the paper with the sketch on it.
- If you are attacked while making a sketch, you can cancel the sketch by pressing the ESC button, or select the skill balloon using your mouse. Once you've cancelled the sketch, I would think you'd want to run away? Pretty simple, right?

- Nice job! Now you're ready to become a great explorer, with your sketching skills and all! Well let's see. I think you're ready for the next quest then.
- When you're reporting on your explorations, you sometimes need to bring back some evidence. Like, something you discovered... Sometimes you'll come across quests in which you need to bring back some piece of something.
- If a client asks that of you, you should go find the item that the client wants, and either report it to the Quest Board, or take it to the client, depending on the quest.
- Are you having trouble understanding what I'm saying? Should we try a practice run then? Once you're done talking to me, finish the quest, then click on the Crystal Ball and you will get a new quest to complete.

- "End" - ends this conversation.
- Alright, just let me know if you have any questions. See you soon.
- "Change Topic" - opens the Travel Diary.
- "Stone Relics":
- Camera angle changes to point in the direction of the Stone Statue.
- All you have to do is click on the Stone Statue you saw earlier with your emptly (sic) hands. You should be able to collect a piece of artifact from the statue. Take the piece of artifact and click on the Crystal Ball and you're set.
- Then clicking on Continue returns to these conversation choices.
- "End" - ends this conversation.
- Gathered a "Statue Stone Artifact" from the Stone Statue (first quest requirement):
- First quest requirement is marked "Complete".
- Obtained the text for the second quest requirement.
- Returned to the Crystal Ball near Ffion and left clicked on it (second quest requirement):
- (I reported the results to the Crystal Ball)
- Second quest requirement is marked "Complete".
- Another conversation is automatically started with Ffion:
- Good. There you go! I think you've got the potential to become a really great explorer! Now I'll tell you a little something about looking for objects...
- Iria is full of artifacts that are hidden by magic. I don't know who or why someone did that. There's a lot of different tales that try to explain the story behind these hidden artifacts but there's apparently not a single one that can be proved or believed.
- I don't know about all that, but in any case, the L-Rod is a tool made of a mineral stone that reacts to the magic keeping the artifacts hidden from view. If I carry this tool around with me, it will react, with sound and light, as soon as there is a hidden artifact nearby. The closer I get, the louder it will react. And if the sound sounds four times in a row, that means that the artifact is very nearby.
- Don't forget it. It's four times. Ok? Beep, beep, beep, beep. That means there's a hidden artifact nearby! Beep beep beep beep!
- Walk around with an L-Rod to first scope out the area, then use the hot key to use your L-Rod and you'll be able to undo the magic spell that's keeping the artifact hidden from view. Whaddya think, pretty simple, right?
- Conversation choices given with the above statement by Ffion:
- "End" - ends this conversation.
- I have some things around here that have been hidden with magic too. Would you like to practice by trying to find them? Click on the Crystal Ball there, and try to find the hidden items after you receive the quest. I'll help you get an L-Rod too, as soon as you receive your quest. If you don't get one, just come back and see me.
- That quest that you've been working on... Don't forget to 'complete' it okay?
- "Repeat" - exactly repeats the part of the above conversation used to explain L-rod exploration and then ends up at these conversation choices.
- "End" - ends this conversation.
- Received after clicking on the Complete button for the quest:
- 20 exploration experience points
- 200 gold
Find the Hidden Pillar Nearby quest: (Character was a Human from Uladh that Continent Warped to Iria)
- The quest is obtained by left-clicking on the Crystal Ball next to Ffion and then left-clicking on the quest in the Exploration Quest window.
- A player can chose to give up on this quest, by clicking on the "Give Up" button in the lower right corner of the quest's information window.
- The quest remains listed in the Crystal Ball's Exploration Quest window, and can therefore be started again, until a player completes the quest successfully or departs for Qilla Base Camp.
- Received "L-Rod from Ffion" with the quest.
- Verbatim Quest Details: Now let's learn how to use the L-Rod, the most basic tool used to find the site of ruins. Equip your hand with the L-Rod and roam around, and you'll receive a distinctive reaction from it based on the distance from the ruins. You'll be able to tell based on how long the light is on, as well as the volume of the sound and the frequency of the beeping noise. If the L-Rod loudly beeps four times, that means you are close to the site of ruins. That's when you press and click on the ground where you feel the site of ruins is located.
- Verbatim Requirements:
- The wording for the second requirement is blank initially but is revealed after the first requirement is completed.
- Find an artifact of a pillar through L-Rod
- Report to the Crystal Ball

Karpfen
Not a conversation but some of Karpfen's random, general public comments:
- Given in alphabetical order.
- Everything in Uladh is so... small.
- Hahaha, who would dare get in my way?
- My beauty and strength transcend race!
- Taillitean is so dull compared to Physis.
Standard greetings:
- No. 1:
- Nice to meet you. I am Princess Karpfen of the Royal Seebarsch Family.
- No. 2:
- On behalf of the Giant Expeditionary Force I, Karpfen, bid you welcome.
Starting Conversation Comment:
- No. 1:
- Player Name? How long has it been? We see each other much too often! HEH!
Standard farewell:
- No. 1:
- None
No knowledge response:
- Answer given when an NPC doesn't have a specific dialog for a keyword.
- No. 1:
- I don't know.
- No. 2:
- Ugh... why are you bothering me with that?
- No. 3:
- I didn't come all the way here just to answer your questions.
Using the "Private Story" keyword:
- No. 1:
- My subordinates tell me that my beauty transcends race, and that even Humans and Elves find my features alluringly irresistable. Of course, I don't particularly care what the other races think. But what else can I do? I was born this way...
- No. 2:
- Not to brag, but I could probably hold my own against Taunes, the greatest warrior in all Physis! At least that's what people tell me...
- Then add my beauty and my awesome critical hit rate... Heh heh... Only a fool would dare stand in my way!
- No. 3:
- The person who's most excited that I'm out of Physis has got to be Kirine. My brother, Krug, wouldn't like me saying this, but I absolutely hate her.
- My brother sent me another gift, just a few days ago, because he's worried about me. But I've been here over a month, and I've yet to get so much as a letter from Kirine!
Using the "Nearby Rumors" keyword:
- No. 1:
- There is rumor that our family sent this Expeditionary Force to draw attention away from the unstable political situation following the Renes incident. But as long as I am around the Seebarsch family need not worry.
- No. 2:
- Circumstances may have forced us to make an alliance with the Elves. But I assure you, no matter how dire our situation, we will never expose our backs to the Elves...
- When Humans first proposed this alliance between the races, every Giant was against the idea except old man Weide. So now the Giant Expeditionary Force is currently stationed here, but who knows how soon that might change...
Using the Skills keyword:
Using the "Part-Time Jobs" keyword:
- That has always sounded entertaining to me, but it certainly would not be proper for me to work a regular job, no matter how short-handed we may be.
Using the "Classes and Training" keyword:
- We mighty Giants practice swordsmanship from an early age. It is an art that requires endless training and patience.
Lassar
Using the Skills keyword (alternate response):
- I assume this conversation occurs because I gained "the Noob Elemental Master" title and have the Smash skill.
- You must be Player Name the Elemental Master. How is your magic training going? (Talked about the skills I've gained so far.)
- Aha. You know the Smash skill. It seems to me that you have a great interest in combat using spells... Did you come here to ask me about ways to combat using magic?
- Hmm. I am afraid I can't do that... Magic isn't around just for combat only. If you are really interested in advanced Fire-based magic, then why don't you talk to Instructor Stewart?
- OWait wait wait. Even if you, Player Name, can prove that you are an Elemental Master, you can't simply show up and tell him that you are interested in advanced Fire-based magic. Stewart probably will not say much about it.
- I'm only telling you this, Player Name, because it's you and all... But first, you must show Stewart the title of the Elemental Master. If you are really interested in magic-based combat, then I don't think it will be that difficult.
- Good luck... ha ha ha.
Stewart
Using the "3 Missing Warriors" keyword:
- The three missing Warriors? The ones who are said to have gone to Tir Na Nog?
- I see... There was a time when scholars debated back and forth regarding the validity of that legend.
- From what I remember, there were stories of Tir Na Nog circulating via word of mouth but there weren't any written records of it. In the end, it was concluded that it was only a rumor.
- So it's just a legend...
- ...What do I think...? I believe in the legend of three missing Warriors. Haha... I'm no fool though...
- I'm not sure if what I just gave you will be of any help. It's a locket. You know, an accessory that you put pictures in.
- ...Don't be surprised... This is actually a memento that belonged to Tarlach, the mighty Wizard, one of the three missing Warriors.
- Yes, the picture of the boy in the locket is Tarlach. This was probably from when he was young. Judging from how old she is, the pretty girl next to him is probably his sister.
- That's not all, though... This locket...it's a type of a Memorial item that allows you to experience the life of the person who used to own it.
- Tarlach spent his entire life trying to rescue the goddess who holds the secrets of Tir Na Nog. His desires and memories remain in this locket.
- Try placing this on the altar inside Alby Dungeon. Beware that only a Party of three can enter the dungeon...
Tracy
Tracy's Escape Route quest: (Character was a Human from Uladh)
- Verbatim Quest Details: Heeeey there! I am Tracy, the darling of Tir Chonaill! If you have some time, I would love for you to stop by the logging camp in Dugald Aisle. I can teach you a skill that will get you out of tough, sticky situations. If you have met me before, then please please pleeeeeease stop by ans see me, okie dokie? - Tracy -
- Verbatim Requirements: Talk to Tracy at the logging camp in Dugald Aisle
- Verbatim Rewards List: 200 Experience Point
- Conversation with Tracy:
- Hey welcome welcome. I'm Tracy. You knew that, riight? Don't tell me you didn't. I am a famous fella around here, you know! Anyway, I bought you here to teach you something very useful, so don't look at me like that!
- I can honestly say I am a great actor. I do enjoy the occasional mix-up that happens with my amazing acting skills. Most of all, it's a skill that helps me stay alive in times of great danger. What I am saying is, when you are faced with a ridiculously powerful enemy, you can actually act to get out of trouble.
- You know how I do it? By playing dead!! When you get knocked back after a big hit, just act like your unconscious. The monster will be tricked into thinking you're really knocked unconscious, and will soon lose interest in you.
- Of course. you'll need to play dead long enough for the monster to actually fall for it. That's the key. Sooo, what do you think? Don't you want to try it out and see if your acting skills match mine? You'll know whether you can act or not by completing this quest.
- Well, acting dead in the middle of town square sounds like fun too, noooo? Hahaha, have fun with the skill for me, okaaaay?
- Received after clicking on the Complete button for the quest:
- The message;
- You have gained knowledge about the Play dead skill.
- Play Dead action.
- 200 experience points.
