I don't mean to argue but, "Any userpage created by an owner with no contributions will be deleted." technically i made the page and i have over 30 contributions.

You do not own that userpage; the user you made it for does, who has no contributions.

Thought you can't edit another's userpage anyway

If it's not in the policy, it should be added. You're just using a loophole to justify the page.

You can't edit another's user page (if there is no reason to, or you do not have permission to), nor can you make user pages for others. If they wish to have a user page, they are going to have to contribute for themselves to earn the right. The wiki is not a place of showing off. A user page is a privilege, not something you can have anytime you want.

I will speak from a personal experience that yes, if you go and edit a "friend's" userpage, it will get deleted if they have no active contributions, or anything constructive. However- I will admit your whole "permission" thing probably sounds okay because I've edited grammar issues or coding issues on friend's userpages and have stated in the edit, or went directly to Kevin telling him I've been given permissions. Additionally, I have a nice little bit giving certain users permission to edit mine. C:

But in most cases, the point still stands that you shouldn't be editing or creating pages for people who don't work. I've edited pages for people I don't even know for simple coding problems and stated why in the comments, but this person has a history of contributions, as well. Maybe when your friend comes back and works on the wiki, he can get his page back.

Why would you create a user page of another user? I, honestly, don't see the need for that.
