Proposal for an update...

Personally I'd rather have just breaks at the ends, rather than '|'s, and no whitespaces, though that all depends on what the writer wants and if any rules are set place beforehand. What I'm asking is, whay space-equal-space specifically? Isn't that also just based on opinion as well?

Why not space equal space? The fact it, it's a stupid thing to be asking about in the first place, as it doesn't even contribute to the discussion. This is about how the template looks, not how the code looks.
