Regarding front page

No it is not because:

  1. It looks a bit cluttered and awkward for new people.
  2. It's not a good replacement for minimization
  3. Some people like to see everything available for ctrl+F on the front page.
  4. It's just a bad way to hide things and is inconvenient for people :/
