Recent Crashings
The loss of items and valuables due to Channel Crashing in various servers in Alexina are caused by character data not being saved when items are equipped. By re-logging after taking things out of pets you can save your character data and prevent item losses due to crashing. Nexon will not replace lost items anytime soon as their customer support is very slow. They also state that they will NOT replace dyes, enchantments, special item stats, and such. Make sure to relog after equipping/moving things from pets/bank/inventory to prevent losses during crashes.
The relogging will help with the losses, however important and helpful this may be, it is unlikely to be added to the Wiki front page. I just wanted to share this with you guys.
Are you talking about the recent crashings over the weekend? or did they crash again? At any rate, this should be on a page somewhere...kinda hate repeating myself over every little issue.
This really should be addressed from the NA team itself...
And FYI, there have been some compensations. But like already said, it will be random color, no enchant, random stat (if there is any special stat), no reforge, etc. At some point, you do get it, just not for a while ._.
Lesson of the week: do not go through items in channel 1, and lose your clothings and combat gears (good-bye, Rigid Alteration Beholder, 17 dura Lizard Spike Battle Sword, and Glorious Sniping LLB ;-;)
My advice: Try to keep necessary items in your personal inv, not pets or mailboxes. For example, I always keep the equipments that I use usually (my dustin greaves, valencia gaunts, delusional cap, my 2nd Alteration shield, enchanted accesories)
Changing channels only saves character location, NOT the entire data packet. I lost a Karis in early April because I thought that I'd only need to CC to save all of my data.
To add a little more info, the relogging to save does help alot, and Nexon's customer service is slow as crap, but I have gotten items back.... 3 months after the incident happened. So it's better to be safe than sorry, cause getting an used, brand new, nothin on it, crap colored items 3 months after you needed it.... sucks.
Yeah, lol... Only thing I can find positive about losing my Karis is that it pushed me to complete my trinity set... which I was lazy about before since I'd had the Karis x3
