Name?
Where do we get it? Game's code?
I am pretty sure this connects Erinn to Erinn's Soul Stream, which connects to other Soul Streams. I guess Erinn can be considered Heaven since it is a Paradise, but I doubt this name is canonical.
(Haven't looked in package files.) Does this place use the same map as the Soul Stream or a different map that is identical? If the latter, we can name this place based on the name of the map like we did with the Crossroad. Although, the creator might have already done that and found this name.
I think its possible they might have said it in the Korean server.
I just looked in the package files, I did find "Crossroad" but I only found one map for the Soul Stream. Nowhere in that folder said "Door to Heaven."
So any news on the name of this place? If not, we should probably rename it. If it's not in the NA server then it's not canonical in the NA server, in my opinion. How about Soul Stream (Battlefield) or something along those lines?
I don't actually remember creating this page, but I think I got the name from Ikkisuki on Soul Stream (Location). I guess I just decided to roll with it.
Looked at that page's history. The first person to mention this place as the Door to Heaven was User:Random. I guess we can't exactly ask him (her?) anymore, though.
So I guess I agree with merging this with the main Soul Stream page, then.
There's still some info that can be merged. And even if there wasn't we can still mention throughout generation quests you go to the battlefield soul stream rather than the normal one.
Purpose? Not known. The only real difference is that the stage uses a different but similar appearance. They're both Celtic knot-shaped but slightly different.
Quick Google:

Also, you only go to the first soul stream in rebirth/creation but you see the second in G10, G12, and G15.
The only staircase in where Nao is leads downward, to the battlefield assuming there is nothing in between.
And don't forget that in the "normal" Soul Stream, people can only walk on the Celtic knot itself. On the battlefield Soul Stream, the area to move becomes much bigger, since there's actually the glass floor outside the knot to run on.
I think the "glass floor" was intended to increase fighting space...
But still, I think a merge is necessary since "The Door to Heaven" isn't a confirmed name.
Well, Infodude is right it was to make more battle room, fighting in such a small space would be difficult and not be a total Spyro rip off with the defensively running around the boss in a circle until it shows its weak point and whatnot... But it's not just a glass over the floor. If you notice the Celtic knot is different and the rings are in different places as well. They just made it in a way that their maps would be identical, I assume.
Regardless, I also vote for merging. Does anyone have reasons against merging?
The only things I could see merged is...the map. The maps are the same I think...*looks again*
Edit: Yeah the maps are the same. The only difference from what I can tell is...one is a "lower tier" of the soul stream, while the soul stream (location) is like a higher up area. It's all the same area, just on different levels, at least from my viewpoint.
There are two maps in the pack file. The first map is called minimap_naostage.jpg while the second map is called minimap_soulstream_region.jpg. Other than the file names, the maps are identical. I'm presuming that the former is the map used when meeting with Nao based on the file's name. The second map is the map used when you do anything else in the Soul Stream. Program-wise, they are two different areas. But story-wise, they are very likely the same place.
That explains the similar maps. I'm still going with the whole "same area, another part of area" theory. I'm going with the idea that a player meets Nao in a "higher area" of the Soul Stream while everything else takes place in another, or "lower area," of the soul stream. just a hunch. Think we should call devcat or call them out at a Q&A session with the programmers? (I'm kidding but if someone wants to entertain the though, be my guest)
I thought I already said that in my replies...
And by Spyro, it was a joke. Because in G10 final you run away from the Doppelganger as far away as possible until it taunts you (essentially, going around him in a circular stage), and that's what you do for almost every boss in the first generation Spyro games.
Still sticking with me "Same place, another area" idea. If we merge it, gotta keep everything in place...
off topic but, Magic School also had the merge thing up for quite...a while.
If they have two different maps, aren't they different places? e-e.
OT: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Merge plz.
Here is how I worded it, do you think this would suffice? (We can revert it.)

Also, these don't use different maps, however, the stages are different, but still match up.
I think a physical map of both stages would be necessary, too.
I also agree with merge.
- Nowhere does it say it is called "Door to Heaven". If anything, G16 portrays it as "Door to Hell".
- Whats the point of separation when we can have it all in one page?
- We don't do this for in-door places like Inns, Healer's Houses, etc. etc.
Although I do see Kevin's point. Before we merge it, we should check G10, G11, G12, and possibly G15/16 and see if they ever actually use the words Soul Stream to describe this place, otherwise it would be assumption.
G10 and G11 Calls it soul stream...G15 was merely the soul stream gone corrupt in the future and G16...Soul stream was apparently(?) falling apart and and Bella's sacrifie kinda put it back into place? I dunno...wasn't paying much attention to G16...
Hmm...I never once saw the word "Soul Stream"
It was just a hole in the sky if I recall correctly...could be mistaken...
I vote for merge. Whether they're the same place or not, they're at least in the same area and are very similar in aesthetics. 'Sides, the Door to Heaven article is a stub anyways; I don't think it had distinct enough information to warrant a new page to begin with...
