List of gear that can't be reforged.
Here's what I know so far that can't be reforged that people might not expect:
- Fabien Greaves
- Cookie wands (event stuff in general?)
Personalized items? Why this was removed.- Bandit Clothing
- Equipment with specific enchants?
- Fighter?
Anyone wish to add to the list?
Removed robes, thanks for pointing that out. However Fabien Greaves give me an untranslated error when I try to reforge them.
I think personalized items can't be reforged. Just tried to do it with my Light Leather Mail, didn't work, and personalization is the only factor I can think of that would prevent reforging. Dunno what would happen if someone upgraded and/or enchantged after the reforging though.
Then...just the upgrades? There isn't anything special about the light Leather Mail except that it was enchanted, it was blessed, it was upgraded three times and as a result was also personalized.
Just the "fighter" enchant. Though, good point, I don't think the current page said anything about enchanted equipment being reforgable.
I have reforged enchanted equipment, however, some enchants may be an exception. I think it just might be that that item cannot be reforged, even in clean state.
All of my personalized items are reforged and I have several different kinds. It's not based on personalization, it's based on the base item.
Some tools, like Potion Concoction Kits (or so I've heard) cannot be reforged.
Hence the question mark next to "Personalized Items". Thanks for confirming that it has nothing to do with personalization. Know of any items specifically, such as the greaves in my example? Also, I'm sure there are other equip-able event items out there. Has anyone tried those out?
Apparently, the statement where items that cannot be repaired can't be reforged is false. Two such categories of items that fit into this group are taming canes and weaving gloves.
Might've been changed in a recent update, or may depend on what type of kit you have used. (They have recently released other types.)
