Aggression and Arrogance
How the hell are Milletians far more aggressive and arrogant?
We've shown mercy and sympathy, as we let Golvan live. We've made no actual threats (unlike the Tuatha de Danann, such as Jenna threatening to kill Cichol and Neamhain). We didn't even bother to lift a finger against our enemies first.
Pray tell, how does what Tarlach and Morrighan's words describe our personality?
Well, we have slaughtered millions of more Fomorians than the Tuatha de Dananns... But I wouldn't trust anything Morrighan says. Some of it may be truth but given her reputation for honesty...
i think she is referring to the part in g12:
"didn't you dared to become equal to gods?" "Are you still going to deny the greed within your heart?"
Now that I think about this... Did we ever really want to become Gods, or did Nuadha merely force us down that path...?
The only words put in our mouths were that we rather not be a god if it meant being like Nuadha, so neither no nor yes.
I've put some thought into it for a while. I think we were only fated to do such an act, because of Nuadha (and Nexon).
The quote specifies that if we were to become Gods, then we would have Nuadha's personality and whatnot. It doesn't mean that we did want to be Gods.
I think Fallen's referring to Morrighan. Why would he refer to me if he's quoting her?
And, didn't we only kill the Fomors because it was an act of Self-defense? They ATTACKED US FIRST! Or so what my mind believes...
No, we attacked the Fomors because we were mislead by Morrighan and people/the descendants of people she influenced.
lolololol Pyrus xDDDDDDD
more like: Ranald KILL THOSE GOBLIN TO BE STRONGER!!!
Goblin: FATHERRR NOOOOO!!!!
daddy goblin: avenge for me... they are.. Mill... Mille...
I really don't think Milletians are naturally aggressive. Just because your in combat doesn't mean your aggressive.
When Cichol (beginning of G11) and Shakespeare appeared before us, we didn't lash out at them. I think we were only being cautious since we believed them as enemies... Although I can't say the same for William when he encountered Cichol, but that was only because he was blinded by love, and "true love means insanity."
