Distance from center of impact affects damage

The meteor was dropped right on top of me and you can see that the three spikes closest to me took around 66k damage. The two spikes further out took around 48k damage. At the very bottom right corner of the screenshot, you can see that a spike even further out took around 33k damage. 48k is approximately 75% of 66k. 33k is approximately 50% of 66k.

Again, the meteor was dropped right on top of me. The three spikes closest to me took around 26k damage. The two spikes further out took around 20k damage. The two spikes furthest out took about 13k damage. Again, this approximately matches up with the 100%/75%/50% theory from above.
