Can we please confirm that you actually have to hit something and get points to not get booted?

I didn't hit anything or anyone, all I did was run around the room, and I never got booted.

Infodude found the key. You just need to keep moving. If you must wait out being frozen twice in a row, take a step before you resume hitting props.
