Gathering elementals

I was just curious as to whether or not you can gather all three elementals with this staff via sprites?

If I'm not mistaken it only works with wands, not staves.

I don't have a Hermit's but I confirmed it doesn't work with White Wing.

Probably not; You can't do any form of fusion bolt either, and both are predicated on explicit elemental affinity.

I read somewhere that staffs will allow fusion bolt soon.

According to the Druid update patch notes, yes.
