See Me Living - Death by PvP

Does it count if you get killed by another player, not by Girgashiy? I've been in several runs where people accidentally kill each other via Paladin vs Dark Knight PvP.

Pretty sure Contagion invalidates it since it's an attack from Girgashiy.
