The Girl's Fifth Clue Note: "L'heure entre chien et loup"

The Girl's Fifth Clue Note: "L'heure entre chien et loup"

The word for word translation is probably closer to "The hour between dog and wolf."

L'heure entre chien et loup
The hour between dog and wolf

Also, the Girl's Clue Note page says its the fifth clue that has the quote.

Yeah, that's the literal translation, but the meaning of it is that it's at the time of day where you can't distinguish between dog and wolf because of how little light there is left. At least, that's what I gathered from an interpretation. Also, sorry if it's actually the fifth note. I must've been tired when I wrote that.

Oh, I assumed by accurate you meant literal. From an English point of view, the phrase appears to be a French idiom probably used in old poetry to convey some (obvious) hidden meaning. Personally, I don't find it very interesting. There's only so much that it can be used for, and most of the beauty comes from its origin being in French (if that is even true), a beautiful language.
