Talking to NPCs results in an Unknown Error

It's not just me right...?

Mabi can crash from doing pretty much anything. For me, I've crashed from talking to npcs, requesting trades, opening trade windows, entering/exiting player shops, opening menus, etc. x.x This has been going on since Tara and Taill were "fixed" (or at least its been more frequent since then).

I haven't been having issues.

seems to happen to several people I've talked to, along with some of my computers in the house (tested with 5 computers).

On a side note, I've had a different error. I was just reborn today and up until lvl 35 everything was normal, then I'd still level but my exp bar wouldn't change and it would still say I was 35 until I relogged.

well here's a list of possible crashes in the many numerous ways I've encountered in order of frequency of occurrence.

• Talking to NPCs (most common issue)
• Moving to another area (Warp, doorway, altars) (Not often)
• Mob Spawns in Dungeon, Shadow/Theater Missions (About the same rate as going into other areas)
• Going into a cutscene (will freeze after screen changes into the scene) (Low rate)
• Summoning a Pet (Low Rate)
• Requesting Trade (Low Rate)
• Using a Dye Amp (Non-fixed) (low rate)
• Opening the Chat Log (rare occurrence)

For me, it's a bit switched around. From most frequent to least:

• Talking to NPCs
• Requesting/Accepting trades
• Summoning pets
• Viewing a cutscene
• Opening any kind of interface window
• Loading a skill (yes, annoying in dungeons)

Maybe I should link the thread instead of my post...I just crashed trying to set up a personal shop...fun.

Lol...best to just keep it as "doing anything can make you crash." I crashed while picking up gold off the ground after a huge lucky finish :/

That's unheard of...talk about deadly gold...ehh I put "range from [action here] to [another action]...

ikr? Gold Strike has nothing against the newest skill: Nexon Gold - causes the player that picks it up to crash XD. I have a feeling that someone's going to crash just by trying to IM someone or sending a note sooner or later. I've already had one friend get BSOD'd by closing mabi regularly, so this wouldn't be too far of a stretch.

It's G16 now and I am wondering if anyone here has experienced the random crashbugs as of late

Mainly crashing after cutscenes in g16 >_>

Well, all of the previously mentioned things do still cause me to crash, but that's only if I'm lagging horribly (which is common :/)

Looks like it's staying on the page then...I'll be adding a note that it happens more frequently on low-end computers since my friend is crashing more than before now...

I still crash daily, 7+ times a day, more often in fullscreen than window mode, alot of the times its a "Bug trap" dynamic library error, or whatever it is, other times it just closes, sometimes just stops responding and my computer closes it. 80% of the time its when i'm in tara, usually when im trying to enter tara or load it, the other 20% is from pretty much any loading screen, like changing floors in a dungeon, then theres the lagg from the chat log, i've crashed 2~3 times from that. but 80% of the time its when i finish a shadow mission and have to load the tara map or anytime i load a tara map, even when i enter a tara mission, i can crash rigth at the start and leave my party to solo

Crashing with relation to tara is usually due to the massive size of the related maps.

After the update, I crash for pressing pretty much any button on the menu (like cc and log off, even the exit game button) It gives me a message, and obviously I sent a ticket to Nexon with all the info in that message and what not, but it is like dropping a bottle in an ocean; I get no reply. My computer is pretty dated, but it played mabi for the last 3 years o,O

What message do you get ? o.o

It's probably one of those "An error has occurred" type messages.
