Chaincast

Does a spirit combat wand chaincast any magic? I know now that Fire Wand only ups Firebolt (and maybe Fireball, though I don't have it so I'm not sure) so I would presume spirit ice wands chaincast Icebolt, and spirit lightning wands ups Lightningbolt, but then what benefits do combat wands get from higher social levels?

I don't think so, but if I had to guess, it'd lower blaze full charge time rather than chaincast anything.
