Since When Did Brionac Ignore the Enemy's Defense and Protection When Using Melee-Based Attacks?

One finds the truth by looking for it. I don't rely on the client files because they aren't always completely accurate (Shock and AR are good examples). I just use statistical analyses to find the values for skills and vars. The problem with brionac and light skills damage and other properties is that I can't just go out and spam them till I get enough trials to pin down the vars I'm looking for. I need multiple trials (at least 50) and multiple scenarios (at least 5) if I want to get an exact number. Brionac is especialy hard because of the damage range adding a lot of variance. The only reason this is even an issue is because I don't have the exact defence and protection values for targets in the ranges I need anyways.
