oooook wth! the Battle Mandolin page says "Cannot receive Special Upgrade." BUT! on the Special Upgrade page the battle mandolin is linked in the "Available Equipment for Special Upgrades" section. make up you minds D:! RAWR

I'm still confused about that, too...

Who has a Battle Mandolin? Please clarify WITH pictures.

Perhaps it was only special upgraded in that one version of Korean Test Server? Because they did all but abandon the idea of a Music destiny. (Which did need a method of battle, hence the battle mandolin.)

Makes sense... If they were really considering a Music/Bard Destiny, then they were probably considering to have offensive music notes pop out of nowhere...

In any case, I still want evidence for this server.

We may have to add that section of the table again, as Korean Test Server just got the Bard Destiny again. But for now, lets leave it out until it reaches the Korean Official server, assuming any instruments received special upgrades.

I recently checked to see if the battle mandolin could be special upgraded in the most recent patch. It can't, at least not the ones from the rebirth event. So, if someone else would like to test the old battle mandos to see if they can be special upped, we can figure out what's going on.

It's been fully upgraded + Gemmed? If that's the case... then the old ones should be able to be special upgraded..

Well it doesn't matter if it's been upgraded or not, if it can be special upped but isn't high enough it says "This still needs a gem upgrade" but the message I got was "no, you can't do that."

Huh. Well then. Further proof that the new music skill sucks! :D!
