Event Details

  • During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Happy Halloween.
  • Find Public Relations Manager Erris in front of the Unicorn Statue in Dunbarton.
  • Register a main character with Erris.
  • You can only register one character per account.
  • After selecting a main character, you will receive event quests related to the Halloween storyline.
  • The event resets daily at 7:00 AM PDT.

    • First Room: There will be a 5-second delay when you open the chests. For each box that doesn't contain evidence, Violent Spirits will spawn in groups of three.
      • Only two Violent Spirits will naturally aggro you unless you attack them first.
      • Using Divine Link is advised, as it will allow you to entirely ignore the Violent Spirits.
    • Second Room: Avoid the rolling pumpkins and make your way to the through the room. Standing near a fenced gate will make it open.
    • Third Room: Defeat all enemies.

Minigames

Week 2: The Great Pumpkin Hunt

The Minigame for Week 2. Tip: Screenshot Mode makes the maze significantly less confusing.

You will need to make your way through a spooky maze to search and find pumpkins hidden in boxes. Be careful as there are boxes with traps inside. Find 5 pumpkins before the Spirit does to win the mini-game.

  • If you win the challenge, you will receive:

Tips

  • The Spirit will find a Ripe Pumpkin once every minute, therefore they will find the 5 that they need in exactly 5 minutes.
  • Only one box will spawn at a time. Boxes randomly contain Ripe Pumpkins or traps.
  • All trap effects last 5 seconds. The possible effects are:
    • Being Frozen.
    • Being Transformed into a Sheep that cannot move.
    • Being massively Slowed Down.
    • Being Knocked Down.
  • It is possible to play the Minigame while in Screenshot Mode, allowing the player to view the entire Maze from above. This significantly reduces the difficulty presented by the maze and makes it less likely the player will get stuck on fence hitboxes. See this page's gallery for an example.
  • Exiting the Mission early does not count as a loss, allowing the player to try again.
    • That said, if the player does not enjoy playing the minigame, the player can also choose to let the Spirit win and they will still earn 4 Coins and this will work towards the overall Achievement Quest.
  • Remember to Complete the Daily Quest! It is not automatically cleared after completing three daily minigames!

Week 3: Watch Where You Step!

The Minigame for Week 3. See gallery below for all options.

You will need to make your way across the tiled floor by stepping on the right combination of tiles. If you step on a hidden trap tile, you will get sent back to the beginning. A glimpse of the correct path will be highlighted at the beginning of the mini-game, or when you are sent back to the beginning. Get to the other side before the Spirit's progress reaches 100% to win the mini-game.

Tips

  • The Spirit will progress 10% through the maze once every 30 seconds, therefore they will reach the end in exactly 5 minutes.
  • Move by clicking once with the Left-Mouse button. Using WASD to move is far less accurate.
    • Try to angle the camera so the path your character takes doesn't cross out of the acceptable bounds.
  • There are 6? possible floor options. Figure out which path you have, then simply follow a guide.
  • Going out of bounds will cause a random trap to occur. These include:
    • Being sent to the start of the maze. This will also reveal the floor layout again.
    • Being Frozen.
    • Being Transformed into a Sheep that cannot move.
  • Exiting the Mission early does not count as a loss, allowing the player to try again.
    • That said, if the player does not enjoy playing the minigame, the player can also choose to let the Spirit win and they will still earn 4 Coins and this will work towards the overall Achievement Quest.

Additional Information

Complete all of the Halloween event story quests. Compete against the Spirit every day starting from the 2nd week.

Weekend Hotdays

  • Log in on the weekends to receive spooky rewards for the Halloween season!
  • You must stay logged in for 36 minutes to claim the rewards.
  • Remember to click on the Claim Now button to claim the rewards.
  • You cannot claim the rewards on a character that is in the Novice talent.
  • Along with the weekend hotdays, the Baltane Max Level Event will run concurrently with the hotday dates below.
    • This means you are able to to gain experience in the Baltane Mission Elite Mode up to level 200 during the event period below.


Trivia

  • Two of the Event NPCs introduced during this Event, Bleiddian and Caunel, have names that include a word meaning "wolf".
    • Bleiddian (also Bleddyn or similar) is a Welsh name from the combination of bleidd/blaidd (meaning wolf) and a -yn suffix (either diminutive in nature, meaning Wolf Cub, or denoting masculinity, perhaps as Wolfish Man).
    • Caunel is a form of the names Connell or Conall; it is thought to be a combination of the Irish words cú (meaning wolf) and gall (meaning valor, fury, or steam; suggesting interpretations such as Wolf's Fury).
  • The third spirit is also the NPC who challenges the milletian to the minigame part of the event.
