I think this would be better if it leaned to the left rather than Center. (Although this obviously doesn't improve content, etc.)

Bump after two years, does anyone else agree with me that it looks odd when it's aligned to the center whereas everything else (text, headers, etc) is aligned to the left?

could just make it a left parameter...or anything.

But does anyone actually think there is a page that it currently looks good with being centered? I'm thinking of just making it left aligned by default and make center be manual.

I've always seen it center since...forever. I never really saw it of a bother.

Would you reject to changing it to be normal? Or at least, normal by default.

Like making all the Quotes be left aligned, and if we really want a particular quote to be center algined we put like |center=y.

Oh yeah sure I guess o-o. But we'd have to go through...every...quote...I mean from what I experimented with, I don't see much of a problem.
