Talk:Worm
Should we consider this guy an Animal (as a Worm) or Magical (since a worm like him is really unnatural)? In any case, someone decide and move him to the right subcategory, please. --- Angevon
well if some1 is looking for info on a worm, i think the first place they check(if they dont use the search bar) will probably be thhe animal section. the reason im guessing this is because i was just looking for it, first place i looked was animal, then field boss, then dungeon biss, then i gave up.(i later remembered there is a search bar on the left and found this). i just remembered, when it rains animals and nature have higher drop rates, so if it has higher drop rate when its raining, it belongs in animal category.Sozen Cratos Focker 16:45, 9 July 2008 (PDT)
- Err, I thought that rain only meant higher chance of collecting items from animals (like wool from sheep and eggs from chickens). I put Worm in Magical because it's not really a natural animal, just like how someone though Gorgon should be considered an animal just because it moos and resembles a cow ... even so, it's not natural. --- Angevon 17:36, 9 July 2008 (PDT)
well i always get money, fomr scrolls, and other drops allot more often from foxes and woolves when its raining, so im prety shure it aplies to animal monstersSozen Cratos Focker 18:06, 9 July 2008 (PDT)
- As a compromise I'll put it under both Other Animals and Magical categories. --- Angevon 17:56, 3 August 2008 (PDT)
Organization
Would anyone mind if I organized this page better? (i.e. Sort between Giant Worms, Millipedes, Ice Worms, Larva and Lungfish)
Sand Worm Spawn Locations
Being that the Muyu Desert is a fairly large place and we have such locations listed for the old boss, people mind listing the spawn locations here? If a map could be compiled from the contributions that'd be pretty keen. To date I've only seen the Sand Worms once, location was reported as "Central Muyu Desert" and they spawned slightly north of the "Mu" in the words "Muyu Desert" on the map itself.
small ice worms
i think there may be more than 1 type of small ice worm, when i was fighting a group of these in par ruins, some of them gave 60 exp and some back 80 exp
looks like there are 2 different types of small ice worm, a white one and a black one, i do not know how to edit this wiki too well so...uh...yea...
the black one gives 60 exp and the white one gives 80 exp
- In Par Ruins? I'm going to check this out, then I'll add what ever is necessary. --Aramet 16:29, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, Fudgegiant is right. There's Small Ice Worms with white-ish bellies that give 80 EXP, and ones with black bellies that give 60 EXP. Should they be called "Small Ice Worm (Weak)/(Strong)" or "Small Ice Worm (White)/(Black)"? --Aramet 17:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- How about type 1, type 2?--黄恒升 ☞ 评论 ☜ 17:34, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Probably best to go by their color, because that's the attribute that can be visibly distinguished. --Powder Rune 17:34, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
