Has this upgrade option been removed from the game? Krug isn't offering it to me. Just in case it was incorrectly ascribed to Krug, my giant has just lugged her Vales Great Sword around every NPC in Vales and also around every Blacksmith in every continent. I managed to find several more NPCs offering the "Gem Repair 1" who weren't previously listed on this page, so I've added them. What I couldn't find was any NPC offering to do the "Gem Upgrade 1" ascribed to Krug. --Librarian (talk) 21:35, 19 September 2012 (PDT)

Smash boost?

Can anyone confirm/deny wether or not this counts as a one or a twohanded weapon for the purpose of Smash damage?

I will deny that it counts as a two handed smash. I had a 90 max attack Vales Great Sword and a 90 attack Claymore, and the Claymore smashes do more damage. Also two handed enchants cannot be put on the Vales Great Sword therefore it is not categorized as a two handed weapon.--钟国豪-BIassreiter 11:41, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

I just took one of the swords, with 100(100%) prof and all five regular upgrades done to Krug and the indicated gems to Krug, and the gem uprade listed here doesn't appear at all. Can anyone confirm it ever existed?

It does seem that it does not have gem upgrades according to http://mabinogi.x10.mx/itemdb/?action=view&item=40238.

Since it was added as a "future content" when it was first added, it was probably mistake since they are common gem upgrades for many weapons.

There apparently is an artisan upgrade for the Vales Great sword. I viewed someones inventory and it has a + strength bonus on the bottom like a Dragon Fang does. I have no proof -didnt screenshot-, only what I Saw, so who knows atm . someone go confirm?
