With the new Auction House System update out (the one where players are allowed to put things on auction), the Wiki will eventually have a page for that system.

So how about renaming the current "Auctions" page to "Tara Auction House" and making "Auctions" a disambiguation page that can lead to "Tara Auction House" or "Auction House System"?

Also, what should the page title for the new update be?

The official update notice simply refers to it as the "Auction House/Auction House system"; but how about "Player Auction House" as a page title?

Might be less easily confused with the Tara Auction House.

I never hear ppl call the Tara auctions an "auction house" so I think calling it just "Auction House" should be find, and won't obscure the auto-complete.

If someone could run thru Special:WhatLinksHere/Auction this and change them all to Tara Auction or Tara Auctions instead that would be great. I cleared out all links to Auctions and redirected it to a disambiguation page, now. For now I just called the link there Auction House but if someone really wants to change it, that's fine, as long as the first word is Auction imo. This is the title of the window for it in-game, too, so it makes the most sense to me.

To whoever makes that page, you can use {{for|the Tara auction house|Tara Auctions}} at the top of the page just in case.

Going by the fact the event banner and the quest, the auction renewal has come out with the other renewals.

Not much I know about it yet but includes

• Auction Items increased up to 3 items per day
• More Items added to the Auction house list + Events
• Modified some minimum bid price values

And the event...

• Accept the mission to protect auction goods from the bandits to receive reward boxes that gives raccoon clan wears.

I'm gonna try it when the time comes and see if anything is new and how the event works on Alexina and post it here.

Still waiting on the event, but I just attended the auction on Ruairi. The items were Ghost Robe (starting bid 2,000,000) and Manus-brand Disinfectant (starting bid 3,000,000). So I'm getting the 3 items per day is incorrect for NA, but I don't know what the starting bid is for the items I mentioned (and Mabidata stated it's only some items that were affected) so I don't think we can confirm the lowered prices yet.

Side thought, I wish we had the starting prices for each item.

I'm getting the feeling that the auction renewal isn't 100% in effect yet considering it wasn't mentioned on the Renewal News Post. Who knows, we'll see if the auction mission actually works.

That could be true. I should probably remove it from the front page as part of the renewal...

When you bid and someone outbids you and you lose, do you lose the money you bid? I am not sure how bidding works, I want to bid to see if I can win myself a Colin Plate Armor, but I am not sure if I lose my money if I lose the auction. I need more info please.

I don't think you lose your money until you've won the auction. (No idea, never done one.)

If you lose the bid, you gain your gold back, if not there should be option to get your bid back(I believe she had that option) at the auction lady.

That would be ridiculous if they didn't give you your money back...

I can see a lot of raging.

Why isn't it starting, It's PASSED 5pm pst...and the auction hasn't begun.....
