Talk:Synthesized Weapons List

From Mabinogi World Wiki

"The chance to actually get the item, even with the formula, is randomized. In effect, the success rate is very low. Multiple formulae may exist for the same item."

Wouldn't this mean that you could put in random items and get a good item? Ex: 3 Daggers -> Dragon Blade, etc. --a random Person. 21:20, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

If they had made a dragon blade a possible result of 3 daggers, then yes. I assume it works similarly to how certain drops work. There's a list of what you CAN get, and using a pseudorandom number generator, you get your result. --Sephy 18:28, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Ineffective Weapons

So I found a recipe for a standard tailoring kit, but there is no category here for it. Should I (or someone) make one? It's 1 copper ingot, 1 thunder crystal (rC, 5charge), and 1 fluted short sword (10/10). --Kamau 21:26, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Getting a tailoring kit is considered a "junk result" of synthesis. Much like if you had received a cobweb instead from your three items you put in. Syl 19:32, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Syllwynn

Confirmed Recipes

"Confirmed War Sword recipes are:

Kite Shield + Gathering Knife(x2)

Machete + Linen Cuirass(F) + Gladius" from User:Dreadhawk

Elvin Long Bow + 2x 2 hander sword--Archibald 15:09, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Moved here from War Sword page.--ladywinter ~{talk page}~ 00:18, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Another solid recipe for War swords (which several have been made on Ruairi using this) is the following: 1 Kite Shield + 1 Gladius + 1 Fluted Short sword. These are all NPC grade items, not needed to be drops or smithed. Syl 19:29, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Syllwynn

Dirk recipe which I've used is as follows: 1 Bastard Sword + 1 Claymore + 1 Camelle Spirit Armor (m). These are again all NPC buyable ones, do not need to be drops or smithed. Please note: This same recipe has also made many Dustin Silver Knight swords and even a couple Executioner swords so far. I reached these results many times while attempting to make a Broad Axe (which I did make from this recipe) for a friend of mine.Syl 19:37, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Syllwynn

Got two from: bought vales great sword + 2 10cm jasper bought vales great sword + 8cm aquamarine + 9cm spinel (as a fail while trying to found out how I got a dirk from the same sword (although synthed from L rod and gems) and I don't remember which gems - no result here in 30 tries)

Feather Atlatl

Just got a Feather atlatl from a long bow, a short bow, and a claymore, can anyone confirm if this is a proper recipe? or did i just get lucky?

Tharm (talk)08:36, 19 October 2013

There are no real recipes for equips. As far as I can tell, adding more of one type of item will get that type of item much more often. Like if I add 6 long bows I'll probably get a long bow or some other bow. I used to use this way to synthesize composite shields. So, yeah you just got lucky, if that's what you want to call it, for a simple item that can be bought in stores.

Cooking Knife junk result?

I got a Cooking Knife from Blessed Magic Powder, Thunder Crystal (RF, 1 Charge), and Fireball Crystal (RF, 5 Charge), now that sounds like a junk recipe to me, I'll try me and see if I can't reproduce the results. Also the stats did not gain or loss any points.

Edit 1

I just got a Ladle from the same recipe, however I just thought of this, the Blessed Magic Powder was acquired through synthesis when I used it to get the Cooking Knife and I bought it during these experiments, I'm not sure if that will affect the outcome. I'm also unsure as to the origin of the crystals as a friend gave them to me.

i need help

I'm a new member and I decided to add a new recipe I found for the wooden club, just for a little contribution.

but I have seem to mess something up I got the recipe down but now the page is kinda weird. I tried using the format and when I previewed it it seemed normal. Can someone fix my mistake and or tell me what i did wrong. Thank you and i'm sorry for being a noob.

Mrfluffy216:44, 20 May 2011

I forgot to add that the recipe is *gathering axe *gathering axe *broad stick all full durability, just if i messed anything else up.

Simple mistake. You removed a tag that is necessary at the end of the template: see here. If something like that happens again, I suggest using the "Show changes" button before saving your edit, or reviewing your edit in the page's history, to see if you changed any mandatory text.

Mrfluffy216:58, 20 May 2011

No worries. If you ever need any more help, just ask.

(War) Sword Recipe

So, I have been putting in the proved War Sword Recipe, and have been getting 2 other types of swords, are these failed results of the War Sword or just Swords? Scimitar. -3 min, +3 max, -1 Dura Broadsword. -1 min, +1 dura.

Finding an average ratio for the npc values of the items used for the synthesis to the item synthesized would be far more useful than the recipes.
