Talk:Support Shot

From Mabinogi World Wiki
  • I don't think you can get support shot with practice rank. I couldn't at least, trefor just said I need to level it more.
    • Support Shot is currently not added to the game yet. Let's wait until G1 to test this again. --Reverie 00:39, 19 March 2008 (PDT)
  • At this point in time, support shot seems completely useless, with regular range being the better skill --Cocyx. 27, Jan. 2009 (EST)
The point of support shot it to be able to attack the same enemy as an all is without having it aggro/notice you. Sogard6 22:47, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

The main use of Support Shot is to be a backup skill for archers to use when their stamina depletes. Since it takes only 1 stamina per shot, an archer can fire constantly without having to worry about their stamina decreasing. --Zephyre5:27, 25 March 2009 (EST)

Q: Can someone provide info on this skill? -- Ember Incubus

Q: Please? -- Ember Incubus

elves?

anyone know if this skill is human specific? i might have some time to check myself. -slayer1o1-

No it is not, i have it on my elf but i havnt bothered to use it that much. ^ _^; -- hawk400206

rank f

is it even possible to rank up the skill? if someone says rank f is achievable, they must have ranked it up. if no one comes forward the rank f table might as well be deleted. -slayer1o1-

Its simply there to show that information is shown in game. There's no point in deleting it Sogard6 22:31, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

so it is not possible to get rank E at all correct. -slayer1o1-

Rank F is Achievable. When you 'obtain' the skill from Trefor, he not only gives you Novice Rank, but also instantly advances you to Rank F for 0 AP. While the Dexterity Gain is miniscule, it is a free point and is worth getting, seeing as how it's a free skill. Fishman 16:47, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

USE FOUND!

1: If a player is useing final hit, it won't knock back, so you can constantly hit.

2: My guild leader has nagle of and he was able to do a defalt arrowrevolver! Just spam it, it has reduced load time and aim time.

3: Zero shot, less range (doesn't matter :P) -load/aim time. User: Heme

suport shot is not the only thing that won't nock back when final hit is being used
i think support shot probably just needs to be past rank f for it's no interruptions effect to work.(and since u cant get it past f yet, you can't see that effect)--Sozen Cratos Focker 04:05, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Upcoming content

Not sure if this should be moved to upcoming content. The data for the skill is there, but it hasn't been released in any servers (that I know of)

what do you mean it hasn't been released??? many people have the skill. i can show you how to get it. slayer1o1 22:01, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
He/she meant the ranks higher than F. --Kevin Talk«) 22:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
AHH me stupid :p. i thought after the ira update it was ok to write stuff that was future content. should we put the ranks in red to show they are not implemented then? slayer1o1 22:21, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Increases blaze damage

Well, yeah. My friend and I tried this in MA, where after the initial blow of Blaze he support shots. Instead of dealing ~21k, I dealt 42k with his support shot, rank 1 and mastered. It wasn't a critical hit either. I'll test this more later. Still pretty new to this so I'm just kinda posting stuff I found over my years playing lol.

Skeithphase1 (talk)08:52, 18 May 2015

This has been known for a while. Support Shot does indeed influence the explosive damage dealt by Blaze. An interesting question with an unknown answer at present is whether or not Rage Impact influences in kind.

-Kaeporo (talk)03:53, 20 May 2015

Both hits of Blaze are considered both magic and melee damage. Support Shot increases any melee damage done, so it'll work for Blaze too. Was this not written on either of their pages? It probably should be added.

Marionette

If a Summon Golem doesn't work, will a Marionette's?

Infodude575 (talk)17:15, 15 June 2013

Melee Bonus damage

Does melee bonus damage apply to both hits in a dual-wield attack? Also, does the effect cancel if a non-melee attack is used(magic, normal ranged, alchemy), or will it remain until a melee attack is used?

Pyroblade21:09, 27 January 2012

...well 2 hits does occur in one attack animation when dual wielding, so I would it would apply to both. and it would cancel since technically the enemy would be hit. I'm pretty sure it'd be wasted on the next hit, whether it's melee damage, or non-melee damage.

Mikaya21:30, 27 January 2012

It cancels after someone hits it? It doesn't say that...

Infodude57522:02, 27 January 2012

Support shot's causes a bonus melee damage effect on the next hit on the enemy. If it's a melee hit you get the bonus damage and it disappears. If Mikaya is correct, ranged attacks and such will also cancel the effect, but you won't get a dam bonus.

Pyroblade22:16, 27 January 2012

I'm just merely speculating since I'm not a big fan of support shot ;c don't take my word for it.

Support stun

If it is reset to standing when shot while knocked back, will it also be stunned? or will it just stand back up recovered and unstunned.

Pyroblade17:28, 27 March 2011

It seems like neither is the case. It seems like support shot doesn't interfere with the process of being knocked down, so a monster will continue its fall as if nothing happened. I will try to confirm this later tonight (PST).
