the last time I did g2 Price was off on most timers. I ended up using this timer: http://mabinogi.biz/page/time/Time_Price.php but going to the place 2 places before they said Price would appear. Can anyone confirm that he's still on this "two places before" circuit? Also, this would mean that he doesn't appear at Ceo whenever there's a Ceo gate, which is what I think most of these timers are based off of. -- Ladywinter 22:34, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

2 Reasons i can think of why Price has moved.

1 : Daylight Savings

Concur. I just went to ceo when the moongate was open and Price isn't there. So any Price timer that's based off the Ceo Moongate theory (that Price is always at Ceo when that gate is open) is wrong. -- Ladywinter 01:30, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

if the timer placed on the page is off (and it cant even estimate erinn time accurately anymore) why is there a link to a price timer? I think if the page just mentions that there are attempts to calculate his location then users can just google it themselves because it's likely to change every time there is an update --Vorthod 05:17, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Price Monster Database

I think it's because you don't fight him and he's there for a small amount of time, so he probably doesnt have any skills except for CM--Dtdsora- no page as of yet- u can make it urself 20:14, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

Since Price appears in numerous spots, shouldn't he have a map legend depicting where exactly he is on the maps he appears in, similar to Byrun? A user came onto IRC and reported to have gotten lost finding him in Sen Mag.

A map definitely wouldn't hurt. Although there's more reasons than just the exact location to have trouble finding Price...

I noticed that the accuracy of the story summary here is dependent on how G2 played out Pre-Genesis. I'm not saying we get rid of that altogether (perhaps just leave a note that some of the info is from Pre-Genesis), but what about the events as Genesis Gen 2 portrays them? Are they different enough to warrant some revisions to the summary/an entirely new spoiler section (if necessary)? It's been a while since I played through it post-Genesis, so I can't go through it myself just yet. Hell, I don't even remember when Genesis revealed that Price was Redire since they took out the Broken Bolt dungeon. What, did they have the reveal happen right before the final battle? >.<

I think its just the same, just reworded and retconned things.

Broken Bolt was retconned, throwing out the what happened between Morgant, Rian, and Redire. Redire's identity's is still revealed, but only at the end with their confrontation with Esras. x.x

Oh yeah, Lugh's ghost was thrown out too.

Tch is it that hard to make cutscenes appear in the conversations? I don't see why the need of retconning.

DevCAT...messing up storylines with renewals. I haven't checked if the crystal ball reflects the old or new Genesis, but more than likely old since it hasn't been updated since...what G13?

There aren't any Chapter 4 cutscenes sad to say.

Well, as long as we're discussing the crystal ball and what scenes it does and does not have post-Genesis...

My memory is a little hazy here; was there a Gen. 2 cutscene that took place between the Barri runs involving the Milletian and the Paladins-in-trianing that foreshadowed Esras' misuse of the training fees and the gold they were told gather there? I could have sworn there was one, but I can't find it in the Crystal Ball's list. I think some scenes might have remained while others were taken out...

They're there in the Crystal Ball, they happen after the short scenes with Ruairi and Triona. But I don't remember which scenes of them in post-Genesis were retconned in the story.

Well, from what I can see... basically, any cutscene involving Paladins specifically were removed from Post-Genesis Generation 2, since it wouldn't make much sense to show them to the Elves and Giants that can now do it. Had they not been lazy and not opted to remove these scenes entirely, they probably would have had to put the effort to create more branching paths in G2 in order to have these scenes show exclusively to humans.

Wait, didn't Morrighan order them to become Paladins?

Well the thing is, She told them to...hang on a second...*Morrighan Transformation* "Seek the path of light to destroy evil...do what it must take to keep the fomors away...or I will slay you."
