Talk:Pet Training Kit

From Mabinogi World Wiki

Rough description

  • Pet training kits cost 50 gold on the test server. They can be used to increase a pet's skill rank by one.---Kaeporo 10:55, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

Do pets get WM r1 range?

  • Here's something for someone to try if they want to waste the money... see if ranking the pet to r1 WM gives the pet the r1 WM range. If it does, this appears to be one particularly useful expense.KisaiTenshi 03:08, 8 December 2010 (PST)
Certain skills have 2 varients. The player variant and the monster varient. Combat Mastery, Windmill, and Ice Bolt all have a different version on select monsters. Windmill M has faster load times and larger radiuses at given ranks, and Combat Mastery M adds more Str at given ranks. A pets r1 Windmill should be a Windmill M and therefor I denticle to that of a laghodessa or metal skeleton. Tellos 11:18, 8 December 2010 (PST)
Also, training kit doesn't stack. Fallenone 13:25, 8 December 2010 (PST)
The way it works with the kits is, you can use multiple kits on a pet, they just redo the random roll that you get. It is possible to keep playing them till you get the boosts that you want.

...should I push my luck...?

and try for a better smash for my Perseus? Only reason I'm asking is because no one I know really uses this kind of thing and I'm hoping someone here has used it at least once...:c

here's its stats and skill ranks...

$2.50 for 1 rank, nothanks. :C

Oh it's +1 rank? wdf? nvm then ._.

まそっぷ ! (talk)23:31, 5 September 2013

Well, up to +3 ranks, but it's +1 for each skill, so +1 up to 3 skills. And don't forget about the possible -1's.

...neh, I don't think I'll try. oh, while we're on this subject, if I did this to my Dragon's r6 wm, would it have increased range if it hits r5 8D?

まそっぷ ! (talk)01:37, 6 September 2013

Yeah, it would. But... would it be worth it... Do you really dragonwm that often?!

ehh actually yes. It helps my puppeteer after on-summon AoE.

That's a serious ripoff... Why is there a cash shop item that actually has consequences for using it?

Oh you mean like gachapons :D...?

Do any pets have a large enough splash area for rank5 smash to make a difference?

Sozen Cratos Focker (talk)12:24, 6 September 2013

Not that I noticed. I just wanted higher windmill range on Xhu's Bone Dragon. I don't know about pets that have splashes on normal hits.
