Since New Beginnings, items don't get dropped upon getting KO'd. However, Lost and Found still exists.

What should be done about that? An Archive wouldn't do since it isn't a removed feature.

Infodude575 (talk)02:08, 7 January 2015

Yeah it's not removed, and items still in it can be gathered out, so I'll give it a go to update the text so people know how it works now I guess.

Shadow missions

The wiki doesn't talk about shadow missions I lost a item, sheep robe preferrably by being rezed and was too occupied to pick up my item, and it disappeared by itself because i took too long. The thingy where it says after g11 nothing is permanently lost, how come I don't see it in the recovery place? Is it because the robe is worth 1g that it's not valuable? I want my robe -_-

The wiki isn't the place to air grievances about lost items. I'd recommend filing a ticket with Nexon informing them of the issue and requesting your item back. IF your persistent with your efforts with them you will eventually (be aware that this can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a few months) get your item back. In the future don't wait to pick up items in combat as you always run the risk of loosing them.

Miyani23:14, 16 April 2011

Well, no. If you leave the item there, it vanishes.

When it says not lost forever, it means if you drop it then rev into a different location with your item on the ground while dead, then it will appear at the lost and found. If left in the dirt upon revival by a player, the item will disappear as per normal items dropped and left. Sorry for your misfortune.

The thingy where it says after g11 nothing is permanently lost

What?

κєνıи тαıĸ«)23:27, 16 April 2011

It says on the page.. As of the G11 update, the permanent loss rule no longer exists. Therefore, any items that have fallen will be later warped to the Lost and Found.

I assume he means that. Which he is right, that's pretty unclear. Either they changed it so even if you don't pick up an item upon revival it goes to Lost and Found (in which case my previous statement is incorrect, sorry) or that line needs to be rewritten to more clearly phrase what it means. :3

Simpet01:53, 17 April 2011

They changed it so if you leave a SM when you forget your items (before they despawn from item value degradation) that they go to the town office.

Sheep Robe is 0g.

That's your fault you didn't pick it up in time.

I wasn't grieving Miyani, how would I be able to explain the situation then.

Permanent Loss

I'd like to change

Permanent Loss[edit]

  • If you are revived and fail to pick up your fallen items, or choose the "Revive on Location" or "Revive by Nao" option and fail to pick up your fallen items, they will not go to the lost and found. They will simply be lost forever.
  • If you wait too long to revive or to pick up your item after revival, the item will simply disappear; the time for this is based on the item's NPC shop value. It's generally about 1 minute for every 100g in value.
  • As of the G11 update, the permanent loss rule no longer exists. Therefore, any items that have fallen will be later warped to the Lost and Found.

To

Permanent Loss[edit]

  • As of the G11 update, the permanent loss rule no longer exists. Therefore, any items that have dropped upon death will be recoverable at the Lost and Found.
    • However, if a player accidentally or intentionally leaves an item on the ground upon revival and the item vanishes due to item degradation, the item is permanently lost. An item generally lasts about 1 minute for 100g in value.
Simpet16:14, 17 April 2011

Well, no objections, so I'll assume that's an OK.

Simpet04:24, 20 April 2011

didnt this rule existed since G1???

Fallenonesigniture.PNG05:28, 20 April 2011

I have no idea at all. :3

According to the previous entry that I edited, it didn't, and items would be gone and not go to Lost and Found if not picked up. May be wrong though. No way to test it now.

Simpet06:46, 20 April 2011

I have a question :/, if "As of the G11 update, the permanent loss rule no longer exists" and items dropped upon death now become recoverable at the Lost and Found, why are we contradicting the first statement with "However, if a player accidentally or intentionally leaves an item on the ground upon revival and the item vanishes due to item degradation, the item is permanently lost. An item generally lasts about 1 minute for 100g in value. "

SoraHikari09:08, 20 April 2011

Aha, nvm :o ,read both statements wrong x) .

  • ._. The rule "items dropped upon death become recoverable at the Lost and Found" already existed since g1, however the rule "However, if a player accidentally or intentionally leaves an item on the ground upon revival and the item vanishes due to item degradation, the item is permanently lost. An item generally lasts about 1 minute for 100g in value" only applies when you are getting revived "on the spot"; either getting revived on the spot yourself (from the button :D) or through the means of getting revived by another player (by the use of a phoenix feather) with dropped items from death. On a side note, intentionally dropping an item (personalized or not) should be mentioned as well in regards to the item degradation rule.
SoraHikari09:18, 20 April 2011

i dun get it.... ._.

all thing i know is that when you revive in last statue of goddess, entrance of dungeon, or nearest village, the dropped item go to the lost and found.

however, if you used nao revival or revived at spot and if you dont pick it up, it vanishes.

this rule existed since g1.

what is the rule now?

Fallenonesigniture.PNG10:36, 20 April 2011

Its the same rule since G1, G11 hasn't changed the lost and found & its rules at all

SoraHikari11:10, 20 April 2011

so what do they mean by as of g11 update? i dun get the comments above.

Fallenonesigniture.PNG11:13, 20 April 2011

I have no idea what the G11 update has to do with anything involving the Lost and Found, I checked the G11 patch notes as well, :/ nothing. I suggest we remove the G11 part in the statement and include any details to clarify the statement(s) more.

SoraHikari12:11, 20 April 2011

How about this?

  • If a player accidentally or intentionally leaves an item on the ground [that was dropped during death] upon revival on the spot (through the means of reviving on the spot from the option Revive on spot during death or from a phoenix feather) the item will vanish due to item degradation if not picked up, when this happens, the item will be permanently lost.
    • An item generally lasts about 1 minute for every 100g in value.
/ Though, I think it still needs more rephrasing
SoraHikari16:26, 20 April 2011

just undo the edit that put G11 thingie majingie.
