in+frit... without the N sound
- Ifrit is the name of a boss/monster/summon in the FF games, and in the FF Anime they pronounce it as "efreet" ─┤Hakumei├─ 01:03, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- I know I'm late but wow, "efreet" and "in-frit (without the N sound)" are exactly the same. Ee-freet. Ifrit is just a mythrical creature and you can google it more to find this pronunciation. --Ashe 10:28, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- The short answer is, an ifrit (traditionally pronounced uh-freet) is a djinn from the Islamic faith, described as fiery beings more mundane and less powerful than the equivalent of devils. In "pop" mythology, like you see in games, they're just about any manner of big, fiery monsters, often times categorized with other demons. Yes, I'm as bored as I sound at the moment. Gold Drop
Me and 2 of my guild mates took down Ifrit and the gold drop was way more than 16k. It dropped around 40k gold, it was hard to count all of it so we didn't get an exact number, but from what we can tell it might have been exactly 40k.--GN54 09:40, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Spawn times wrong? | 10 | 20:26, 13 December 2013 |
I think the spawn time for the ifrit in ant hell might be wrong as I have showed up there for the last 3 days in a row at 7pm EST and waited around for like 20-30 minutes for him to spawn and nothing.
He does have a rather large window of spawning...come to think of it, where did all the times come from?
All the times are correct in general, but sometimes they fly way off time like red dragon past midnight EST time on weekdays. Prairie dragon time flies off the most times I think.
Means they might be off or delayed.
