Guild Points
Upon testing whether or not Shadow Missions give GP, I ran several SCC basic (one point each), Several SCC intermediate (one point each), and then by luck got an SCC elite which I sadly failed, but afterwards donated GP and got two points, therefore I believe GP is gained from levelling and based off of killing mobs relative in strength to yourself. Can anyone verify this? --Linxindao (talk) 22:15, 19 November 2012 (PST)
I would like to note that I was using two warp imps to go to guild stone and back IMMEDIATELY after each SM. Including the failed elite. Each basic and intermediate mission took approximately four minutes. --Linxindao (talk) 22:16, 19 November 2012 (PST)
Old Question From an Unknown Author

Guild Bank
So far the only thing I have used the guild bank for is to upgrade our guild stone. What other uses are there for the guild bank? I know it can be used to bid on a castle. Can someone add a section on the page explaining some of the mechanics of the guild bank and all of it's uses? --Parcae 12:26, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
>>Added a subsection under basic information that details the guild home, including request budget which allows withdrawal of gold from guild bank with agreement of the guild. -- Linxindao 04:34, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Umm aren't the guild bank and guild budget budget mean the same thing? Just wondering.
- If you use a talk page outside the liquid threads system, leave a timestamped signature manually by typing ~~~~ or clicking the signature button.
- Guild Budget is Nexon's bad translation of the name of the system for withdrawing from the guild bank. Sozen Cratos Focker (talk) 23:26, 12 August 2013 (PDT)
Incorrect waiting time during leaving and joining guilds?
I was able to leave and join a guild immediately like 5 times in 6 guild changes <counting from 0> I never had this 1 week wait o.o. I think it should be listed under bug or something unless i'm just special :D
- You probably misunderstood the waiting process. It's one week from guild JOIN date not Leave date.--Aubog007 02:59, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I think it is now set that it is 7 days after you leave that you can join a guild... Friend of mine accidentally left and wanted to return, but got the "Please wait one week" message when he tried to rejoin, and he joined like 3 months ago... Can someone verify this? -- Lt. Guild Stone Placement?
ive been trying, and for some reason, i cant place a guild stone anywhere in sen mag or Emain. why is this>?
- Guild stones can only be placed in certain areas. A map of those areas would be nifty. AFAIK, Guild stones CANNOT be placed in the following areas: EMAIN, SENMAG, BANGOR, ANOTHER WORLD, HOUSING CHANNELS, PORT CEAN(?), ANY TOWN OR PATH OR DUNGEON ALTAR, ANYWHERE IN IRIA (Excep Metus and right ouside of Vales and Filia). --Skynet 11:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
2 month withoutservice=nomore guild
theres a rumor that a guild will disband automaticaly if the leader has no service for more that two months, does anybody knowif theres anny truth to this?
- Lies. --Naiya 05:47, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- This is not true, I was without premium for an entire year and my guild did not disband. -- Linxindao 04:36, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Do Play Points transfer between guilds?
If a player leaves a guild and joins another one, does he/she keep all previously-accumulated Play Points that were never donated to the previous guild? --Fulvia 23:56, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- Simple answer: No.--Aubog007 02:57, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Guild Names
Can same-name guild names be used on different servers? Example: A guild named Noob on Tarlach AND Ruairi? The article mentions nothing about this, and it's a tiny bit difficult to confirm the answer myself, as I cannot test creating a guild, as I lack service. If you search a guild name on the Mabinogi website (community > guild section), no name I search ever shows up twice. This is likely to say if a name if used, it can't be used on any other server, but it's also necessary to check if that is true or not. Since guilds need service, the amount of players who actually can create a guild are smaller than if it were free, and it may or may not be more likely that those few individuals are more likely to use a name that hasn't already been used. I'm just curious; I figure the answer is no, but if someone can verify, I've been curious about this for awhile. --Rusty 15:25, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- Going over the absurdly long list on the "Guild" tab, of the Nexon.net page. I would have to say no. I see no multiples, but a lot of trying to be the same. I wouldn't know for sure tho, and since I don't have service, I can't test it. :s--Tricky B Bomb (Talk) 12:30, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- I have finally purchased service, and was able to test this. I have found out that if a guild name is currently in use, on any server, it cannot be used, even if you are on a different server. I had proof, but I didn't move the 'cannot be used' window out of the way of the guild name I was testing, so it's not much "proof". If anyone cares though, I tried the word 'Nostalgia' in Tarlach, and Nostalgia is already a guild (at this time) on the Mari server, and I was unable to use it. --Rusty 20:22, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
And how are you certain that there wasn't just already guild named nostalgia on tarlatch?--Sozen Cratos Focker 22:27, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- This page: http://mabinogi.nexon.net/Community/GuildCommunity.aspx
You can search guilds by name. It's a simple way to check what guild names are and are not being used, and the only Nostalgia is in Mari. This page shows all guilds that exist, and I can't be certain, but I assume it also lists guilds that have 'expired' (leader has no service, if they even still play; you can check when a guild was created by clicking it's name to assume which guilds are 'dead' and just taking up a potential name). --Rusty 23:00, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going to be creating a guild rather soon, anyway. There's a guild with the same name I plan to use on the Tarlach Server, so I'll find out when we try it. I am on the Mari Server, and there is also a guild on this server with similar spelling, so. I'll post on here and update this a bit, once it's all said and done. I'm just hoping it'll work.

- Confirmed. Silly Nexon takes /all/ of the guilds on every server, so we can't have the same names. Yeah, we tested it. It's too bad it doesn't work like character names do. :<
guild stone
if you upgrade your stone but is taken away from either removing it yourself or by not having service... will it revert to being the smaller stone? or will it still hold on to its upgraded look? --chrissy of hailfire 22:30, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Unless it's changed in a recent update, it will revert to the beginner stone. I've had to upgrade mine twice, once when Nexon messed up the guilds, and once when they messed up the premium service subscriptions. --~Shadoe 05:27, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

I would like to note that the ability to delete a previous guild budget now works.
However, on another note, to create a guild budget, it seems to require characters from 10 different accounts, not just 10 characters in the guild. Will be testing immediately.
Yes it does. It has always been like that.
About the guild budget. I checked it out. I don't think it works for the current state right now. Keep saying "An error has occurred" and won't let me create the budget. I even clicked on Past Request Budget. It shows that the internet cannot be displayed. Wonder what's wrong with the budget option for modern current days on Mabi???
Just tested and confirmed.
I used three accounts to add 9 members to my guild i'm trying to empty the bank of before disbanding. (including the account the owner is on that makes four accounts). The guild budget page only counted 4 members.
I added an alt from a fourth account, and sure enough, the count went up to 5.
Will update the guild budget subsection to reflect this.
"Destroying" a Guild Stone is simply a means to move the stone to a new location, correct? Other than that, all I can see happening by destroying a stone would be to prevent applications and donations.
Destroying wouldn't prevent applications, as guild members can invite players manually.
But, yes, destroying would then allow the creation of a new guild stone to be placed in a different location. Beware that any upgrades to the old guild stone will be removed and will have to be achieved again through the use of more GP and gold.
Oh good, I haven't upgraded the stone yet but I want to move it to somewhere better than Corrib -.- Thanks for the help.
Guild Suggestions[edit]
I sure wish Mabinogi NEXON would add some sort of daily guild quests that adds more GP for the guild.... My suggestion. I want to see some guild improvements. Make guild more funner. Waiting for hours in game is tedious to get enough to where you can upgrade your guild stone or whatever. And leveling up may seem bit fast until about level 80+ it'll slow down.... Adding few guild daily quests sounds good.
Which is used in-game? "Guild Leader" or "Guild Master"? The latter seems kind of weird to use without "Guild" in front of it, but makes it sound quite redundant.
people usually refer to them as "leader" in-game, as well as in the Guild Formation Permit
Since the Nexon site has eliminated the community link to guild. It will make it more difficult to quit a guild that is no longer active. This link should be considered being added to page to help those who will need it in the future. http://mabinogi.nexon.net/GameWeb/GuildCommunity
