Talk:Dagger
The stats on dropped Weapons aren't always fixed. Ir may be +3 one time and can be +1 the next. Rat Man can drop the same daggers as the ones listed. Going to add the Blue Wolves to the Drop Location --Khenta 15:34, 29 May 2008 (PDT)
Hmm, maybe I should change Monster Drop to the commonly used names such as +1, +4 etc etc. Also, if a drop with a certain stats is exclusive to the mob, note the mob in the name for now. --Khenta 15:49, 29 May 2008 (PDT)
I seem to get the 3-10s from the blue ratmen and the 5-12s from the normal ratmen --Sinnoaria 10:46, 27 July 2008 (PDT)
I'm adding a few upgrade paths on the daggers. I've been experimenting with a spreadsheet and there's more to upgrades than the two paths provided.--Sakiruyonaki 22:00, 05 September 2008 (PDT)
These aren't the only blacksmithing grades available. I've personally smithed a dagger with 10 max dura, for example. --Inemnitable 05:41, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Pictures
do we really need different pictures for each color? it seems a bit excessive.--Jacobpaige 20:50, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Blacksmithing Grades
Anyone know how to fix it? --Jαy 23:42, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- That should do the trick. -Duet 01:17, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
Added the average damage to the blacksmithing grades table and updated the template to allow the change. Will be doing all of the averages once the math is complete. --Exca 08:42, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Why were the smithed dagger stats completely erased? I went back and looked at the numbers as well, they are different than the enemy dropped daggers. Ex: Grade E and E+ aren't even dropped by fomors. Their dmg rate, average dmg, and average crits are not even on the fomor drop list.--Exca 12:29, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- I listed the reason on the editing notes... It was basically a copy+paste from the Blacksmithing List with base stats added in.... So it isn't really needed. ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 12:30, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Actually all i did to the page was add the average damage. Both lists are completely different.
List 1 Dmg | List 2 dmg | List 1 crit | List 2 crit |
---|---|---|---|
2~9 | 2~9 | 25 | 25 |
2~10 | 3~10 | 25 | 26 |
2~10 | 3~10 | 25 | 26 |
3~10 | 3~10 | 26 | 27 |
3~10 | 4~11 | 26 | 28 |
3~10 | 4~11 | 27 | 28 |
3~11 | 4~11 | 27 | 28 |
3~11 | 4~11 | 28 | 23 |
4~11 | 4~12 | 28 | 28 |
4~11 | 5~12 | 29 | 28 |
4~11 | 5~12 | 29 | 28 |
4~11 | 5~12 | 30 | 28 |
NA | NA | ||
4~12 | 28 | ||
5~12 | 28 |
Those are the original wiki tables above.--Exca 13:47, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
I removed the blacksmithing grades, not the weapon grades >.> ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 04:16, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
I realize that. My point is why are we erasing info someone could use? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Exca (talk • contribs) . Please always sign your comments with the button or by typing ~~~~!
- Like I said, it is basically the same thing as the one on the Blacksmithing List. Anyways, only the Dagger and Short Sword pages had it, so it isn't consistent. ~kotarou3 TALKCONTRIBS 06:00, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Nerys doesn't offer the 'Dagger Jewelry Upgrade 1,' can her name be removed from the list (she does, however, offer the Gem Repair 1)?
Under the Spirit Weapon part of the page, it says "Very inefficient in repairing." I have no idea what that is meant to mean. It might mean any of the following, from what I can tell: 1) It's hard to repair (hard to prof daggers?). 2) It's easy to repair (easy to prof daggers?). 3) It fails repairs a lot. 4) It doesn't fail a lot. However, ALL spirit weapons have the same success rate to repair. Also, how hard/easy it is to repair is player opinion and not fact. All melee weapons prof at the same rate, so it's not any worse than any other melee ego's to repair. (Actually, I find daggers quicker due to FH + attack speed). Also, with the recent update to prof'ing rate, you can pretty much prof anything to 100 within the dura limit from NPC-grade. I'm going to remove the "Very inefficient in repairing." due to the before-mentioned reasoning. =3
