Either SparckeyDog is severely wrong, or lumber axe page is, because 4 applications of a 1.7 increase followed by a x2 are listed here as an inexplicable 4.8 and there as a 16.7, which is obviously (1.7^4)*2. If The latter model is the correct one then the actual value of 4 1.7x and an 8.35 is (1.7^4)^2 (almost 70x original cost).
Third opinion, or anyone who can substantiate?
Wasted a prof hammer to test it. Was surprised the first four seem to multiplicative but the final is additive as far as final cost goes. Repair prices went from 1106 per slot to 18474 per slot.
The cost increase of that 4th one may actually depend on what's already been applied, if it's the only speed boosting it definitely boosts by 8.35, but it may be that if the other 4 are already present it only doubles the cost. I'll continue investigating since I go through dozens of these stupid wands right now anyway.
