[You talk to Lileas in the Tara Jousting Arena about her Private Story.]
Lileas
Let's keep this between us, CharacterName, but I have a dilemma these days.
I'm dropping weight like crazy because I'm stressing over this! Sigh.
That doesn't help when my growth is already stunted! Err...solve my dilemma please!

Talk to Lileas
[You initiate conversation with Lileas again.]
Lileas
Yes, my worry is that...
the Honey Drink hasn't been selling well these days.
Rumors about it not being very effective must have spread all over Tara already.
- Continue
Well, I can't just stand by and do nothing!
- Continue
I'm preparing a new product called Honey Drink Light.
I'm sure that sales will increase when the Honey Drink Light is introduced! Hehe.
CharacterName! We need to prepare a new commercial for the product.
- Continue
Having a consistent spokesperson is the best way to go about this. Remember that female Giant model?
Please find her, since we need to have her appear in the commercial again.
- Continue
Here, this is for you.
Drink this before you start your trip.
Now, now, drink it all down. Delicious!

Talk to Karpfen
[You go to Taillteann to speak with Karpfen at the Giant Headquarters.]
Karpfen
Are you talking about this again?
I'm sorry, but I don't want to have anything to do with that Honey Drink anymore.
I was tricked into doing the commercial once because of that little lady's sweet talking,
but if I think about how angry my brother was...sheesh.
- Continue
Not only that, but I even got an earful from that woman Kirine
about how it was unfitting for the dignity of the Seerbarsch family.
It was a humiliating experience for me in every way.
- Continue
CharacterName, I really wish I could help you,
- Continue
but I could already see what Krug and Kirine would say.
Enough of that now.
Please tell that little lady I'm sorry.
- End Conversation
Talk to Lileas
[You return to Lileas to relay Karpfen's response.]
Lileas
What? She can't be in the commercial?!
No way. We need that Giant for our commercial!
This is a major problem... Is she really that scared of her older brother?
- Continue
Well, there's only one thing we can do. We'll just have to get her older brother's permission.
CharacterName! Go! Get that Giant King's permission!
- Continue
CharacterName, while you get permission, I'll be working on changing the storyline [sic]
You can do it!
- Continue
Talk to Krug
[You head to Vales to ask Krug for his permission.]
Krug
How dare you!
How dare you ask such a thing of me?
You are insulting the Royal Seerbarsch family!
To experience such shame once is enough.
- Continue
I will not allow such a thing to happen again.
- Continue
Leave now.

Talk to Kirine
[You speak with Kirine after receiving her message.]
Kirine
I heard that you visited our king, Krug, because of Karpfen.
Karpfen might seem smart, but once in while[sic] she does something utterly stupid.
- Continue
Well, that's our problem, anyhow. But how about you? Is it okay for you to return empty handed?
You will look incompetent if you return with no results after having come so far.
Why don't I give you some useful information?
The king has been losing sleep these days.
- Continue
He's concerned about the delivery of a personal letter to the chief of the Courcle Tribe.
Ever since Irinid's symbol has been discovered there,
we Giants have been searching for a way to expand into Courcle.
- Continue
But Courcle is an area that has caused bitter conflict between us and the Connous Elves,
so it hasn't been easy.
- Continue
I heard that you have a very good relationship with the people there...
What if you used your relationship to our benefit?
- Continue
If you tell the king that you will take care of his problem,
maybe he'll forgive the Princess's foolish act...
- End Conversation
Talk to Krug
[With Kirine's suggestion in mind, you talk to Krug again.]
Krug
Where did you hear that?
I do have a letter that needs to be sent to Kousai,
and I've been concerned because there is no way to get it to him.
- Continue
Since this is of the utmost importance,
it has been causing me great concern.
- Continue
Hmm... CharacterName, do you really have a strong relationship with Kousai?
Well... since Kirine, my love, is vouching for you, I should be willing to trust you as well.
- Continue
Okay, CharacterName, if you can successfully deliver this personal letter to Kousai,
I will reconsider the issue with Karpfen.
Let's hope that I won't be disappointed.

Deliver the Personal Letter to Kousai
[You go to Cor Village to give the letter to Kousai.]
Kousai
Aren't you the one that brought me a Rain Maker Crystal before?
Yes, I remember your face.
I can feel a great spirit flowing within you.
- Continue
Hmm, a personal letter from the King of the Giants...
In terms of our tribe's relationship with the Elves and the Giants,
we have no choice but to remain neutral.
- Continue
Accepting this letter is not an easy choice
but since it is your request, I won't make you return it.
- Continue
I heard about what you went through at the Longa Desert Ruins
from Waboka.
Even if it weren't for that incident, I would have hoped to meet you again one day.
There is a story that I want to share with you.
- Continue
It's a legend that has been passed down for generation in our tribe.
Maybe it will help you wash away the doubt
you may have in your heart against the great spirit Irinid.

[Cutscene]
Onscreen message: When voices of sorrow filled the land,
light from the great spirit Irinid started to glow above the western sea.
In order that the dragons might be confronted
Onscreen message: Irinid gave the sharp fangs of the Coyote to the Giants
and the wisdom of the Falcon to the Elves.
As darkness cannot remain in the presence of light,
Irinid's light pushed out the darkness of the dragons.
When the great spirit kissed Courcle's Heart,
Onscreen message: the sound of a heartbeat started resounding throughout the land.
Blood flowing out of the heart touched the land
and the land of Iria
started to breath[sic] again.
The Elves and Giants, however, became greedy.
Onscreen message: They believed that by obtaining Courcle's Heart,
they would also become like the great spirit.
Onscreen message: Thus, a foolish war between the races began
and lives were being slaughtered for a long time.
Onscreen message: The great spirit was greatly disappointed
and hurt by the betrayal.
For the first time, the great spirit
regretted all that she had done in Iria.
The wrath of the great spirit
caused the relics of light to disappear, as if they were just mirages
Onscreen message: and the land was branded with a curse that could not be undone.
Onscreen message: The green prairies of Connous turned into barren deserts
Onscreen message: and the paralyzing snow storms tormented the Giants who suffered from hunger.
ultimately, the great spirit left Iria
and disappeared into the western sea where the light had first glowed.
Onscreen message: Still, the great spirit left a promise.
A promise to return one day.
The promise of hope...
[End of Cutscene]
Talk to Krug
[You return to Krug after delivering the letter.]
Krug
Oh, so Chief Kousai accepted my letter?
CharacterName, that is very good news.
Oh yes, Karpfen... I will have to put an end to this matter.
Okay, I will think about allowing Karpfen to appear in this commercial.
- Continue
But, is there a way that I can personally see this drink that my sister wants to advertise?
I need to make sure that it is not something that will taint the dignity of the royal Seerbarsch family.
As her older brother, I want to have the final say.
- End Conversation
Deliver the Honey Drink to Krug
[You bring a Honey Drink to Krug.]
Krug
Oh, so you've brought it.
So, this is what the humans drink?
- Continue
(Krug gulps down the Honey Drink.)
- Continue
Oh wow... this taste! I'm bathing in the sweetness of Tara's honey!
I feel as if I'm walking on clouds!
Aah...if I can just have one more sip... I feel like I can do anything...
- Continue
CharacterName, is this the only bottle you brought? Hmm... how disappointing...
How about this...
- Continue
If you can get me more of this drink, I will appear in the commercial myself!
In fact, I'm willing to pay any amount of money for this drink...
Can you talk to the person who made this drink?
- End Conversation
Talk to Lileas
[You return to Lileas with Krug's response.]
Lileas
Welcome back, CharacterName.
So, did you get the older brother's permission?
- Continue
What! So, her brother was taken by our product, too?!
Wow, I didn't realize that our honey would be suitable for Giant tastes.
Maybe I should consider moving our headquarters over there.
- Continue
In any case, good job, CharacterName!
So, we're good to go on the commercial for our new product!
Hey, let's just do the shoot in the land of the Giants!
- Continue
Yeah, a foreign location shooting! Let's go!

[Cutscene]
[In the Hotsprings region of Zardine, a group of male Giants are relaxing in a spring. As they laugh with each other, one particular Giant raises his head and notices a Red Dragon staring down at the group. The Giants, now alert, take on combat stances.]
Onscreen message: Defending is harder than challenging.
[Suddenly, Krug walks strides into the scene. He calls out to the other Giants. An Inventory UI appears, filled to the brim with Honey Drinks. As Krug consumes each and every drink in the bag, he expands in size. Then, with ease, he wrestles with the Red Dragon and defeats it. The group of giants in the spring cheer him on. When Krug turns back to look at the group, they excitedly run over to him.]
Onscreen message: He is the champion.
[Krug laughs heartily.]
Onscreen message: Krug the mighty falls for the sweetness of Tara honey.
[Suddenly, you, Lileas, Kirine, and two Yetis appear alongside the Giants, cheering on the King as well. Meanwhile, Krug returns to his normal size.]
Krug
Tara Honey, I like...
