Enchant Scroll
Description
1 × 2 |
Enchanted scroll for imbuing magical effects into equipment. The durability of the item can be damaged if the enchant attempt fails.
Details
- For more information on how to enchant an item, see Enchant (System).
- To use an Enchant Scroll, use the Enchant skill.
- Enchant Scrolls have a prefix or suffix enchant, a rank, an expiration time, and start off with 100% durability.
- If the enchanter fails an enchantment with a magic powder, the scroll's durability goes down based on the enchanter's Enchant rank.
- Once the scroll's durability reaches 0%, it cannot be used.
- If the Enchant Scroll is rank 5 or higher, the enchanter is required to have Rank 5 or higher Enchant skill.
- If the enchanter fails an enchantment with a magic powder, the scroll's durability goes down based on the enchanter's Enchant rank.
Exclusive Enchant Scroll
- Exclusive Enchant Scrolls cannot be traded and generally Personalize the enchanted piece of equipment.
- The only known Exclusive Enchant Scroll that does not personalize items is the Pointed enchant.
- Some regular enchants that are normally enchant scrolls may drop as Exclusive Enchant Scrolls.
- Personalized equipment will stay bound to its owner, even after the personalizing enchant is enchanted over.
Dual Enchant Scroll
- Certain Enchant Scrolls obtained from gachapons or events may come with a prefix and a suffix.
- Such enchants must be split through enchant burning prior to use.
- You cannot use Enchant Expiration Removal Scrolls on Dual Enchant Scrolls.
- Enchant Scrolls extracted from a Dual Enchant Scroll will have a renewed expiration time, allowing for expired Dual Enchant Scrolls to be used after being expired.
Enchant Scroll (Unsellable)
- Enchant Scrolls that modify an item's NPC Selling Price will not carry the enchantment's unique ability to increase the selling price to the scroll and are unsellable.
- Regular Enchant Scrolls sell for 150g while Enchant Scrolls (Unsellable) have a price of 0g.
- Items enchanted with these scrolls must have their gold deposited to the bank.
- Items sold with these enchants will not have the 10% depositing fee applied, even if item would normally have one applied for being over 50k resell value.

Trivia
- Before the Dark Arts update, Enchant scrolls used to have an expiration timer.
- Unsellable Enchant Scrolls generally had a shorter expiration timer (5.5 Hours) than most regular Enchant Scrolls.
- The expiration time would go down even if the holder is offline.
- An expired Enchant Scroll could be used unless they were made unexpired.
- Expiration times could be entirely removed through the use of an Enchant Expiration Removal Scroll, even if the Enchant Scroll has already expired, re-enabling their use.
