Iunno, some people added archive tags to event items. Not sure why though, but they do.

Can we make a new category for old event (and other things that were never permanent to begin with) and put them in there instead?

We already have a [Category:Event Items]. But that's for all event items in general. If you want to bother with a category for items that only show up for events, sure why not. I wouldn't bother with it, but why not.

Though I would agree with the part where event items just don't belong in this category.

I didn't think it through, I just remembered you keep most event items regardless of the event being present or not. Like rock paper scissor stuff.

It's likely for organization. I just lurk nowadays and slowly fading into nonexistence. *sees through own hands* I'm a ghost now! Wheeeeeeeeeee...

It's an okay idea, so long it's noted that the even has passed or whatever. But if that category was removed and the simply put "Archived", then we have a problem.

I'm fine with regular and event item categories being separated.
