Forum - Enchant Modifier tables

[#32]

These tables are becoming awfully painful to work with, not only do they not sort properly, the first column is also often wrong when it comes to varying "rolls". They could also look a lot neater, I mean does a lot of the info really need to be thrown in there?

Personally I have this. (But I know a certain someone here doesn't like tabs, grrr!)
I'm not saying we have to use it but we could perhaps have the modifier tables a bit less overwhelming, like hiding rest of the stats and drop locations in a MouseoverBox or something?

Also not like people remember to update these every time anyway, heheh...

I mean I definitely like to see the other stats, particularly repair fee, but that could also be in mouseover I guess. More importantly you at least need to show what it enchants on. I'd suggest that prefix/suffix tabs are probably not necessary either, a two-column format to represent the two is probably fine.

When you airquote rolls, do you mean like Girgashiy? It's strange I guess.

Also is the bolding just for high values?

When airquoting rolls I do mean anything that does not give a fixed number of stats, as well as enchants that use "If"-requirements.
For example Mirage in those tables simply shows "6" for negative defense (that should actually be 4, heh), but what about if you don't use the title required? It would be 0, so in theory it would have to say "4~0". Same goes when you don't meet skill requirements or anything similar. (Maybe I'm just being overly picky here)

The bolded values are for higher values yeah, though I can easily remove those with a few clicks.
