Zebach (Raid)

From Mabinogi World Wiki
For the monster, see Zebach.

Description

Mission Information

Hard

  • Party Size: 1~16
  • Time Limit: 30 minutes
  • Talent Level: Master+
  • Mission Details: Having desecrated Erinn's graveyards, the Prophets moved to create the Apostles - giant monsters of untold power. Called Zebach, this Apostle's form is not unlike a 'living grave,' whose every movement disturbs the resting places of the dead. Born of the dead's collective desire to live, it neither grows tired or feels pain. As a result, the knights' Warding-Binding-Smiting chain skill pattern is ineffectual against it. Squad members would be wise to rally their forces, avoiding Zebach's attacks while attacking relentlessly. When it is put on the defensive, it summons servants. Watch for Zebach to stomp its forelegs and roar, as this is a signal to the vengeful spirits to surround you and leech your health. To prevent this, you must hide behind the tombstones and wait until the spirits return to their eternal rest. Zebach is prone to ending the battle and disappear once it has killed many squad members, so make sure to protect yourself before joining the fray.

Advice and Information

  • Upon entering the mission, all party members will spawn in close proximity of Zebach. Move behind or away from Zebach to avoid getting hit by its attacks.
  • Zebach can perform a stomp attack that may knock you down if close enough.
  • Zebach can perform a swipe attack with its right arm that deals significant damage that may get you into deadly/knocking you out. It's advised to attack Zebach behind it to avoid getting hit by this attack.
  • Zebach may perform a circular area of effect spell that is placed at a random squad member's feet from a distance nearby it. The spell is indicated by a lighted circle surrounded with stones. After five seconds, a light will appear above the spell's area which will damage and push you away if anyone is caught in it.
  • At any time around 60.00% of its HP Zebach may perform it's Ritual Attack where a limited amount of big tombstones will surround Zebach meaning it will perform a very powerful attack that is signaled by a roaring animation that any player/pet within a big range will get hit by it after 5 seconds. This attack will surely knock you unconscious or get you deep into Deadly status.
    • This attack can be avoided by going behind one of the tombstones in Zebach's perspective or running far away on a pet.
    • This attack can be cancelled with a Bone Dragon/Fallen Fairy's summon effect and de-summoning it quickly within the 5 second timer.
  • Zebach will summon the following based off of its remaining HP:
    • 30.01% and 80.00% - multiple Reanimated Corpses; these are swapped with Doppelgangers later.
      • The Prison versions of the Reanimated Corpses can snapcast intermediate magic as well as Lightning Rod.
    • 0.01% and 30.00% - four Zebach's Doppelgangers.
      • These only have Zebach's stomp and swipe attack that does less damage than the main Zebach (Their swipe attacks can still deal high damage).
      • These will despawn then respawn periodically regardless if they are defeated so it is advised to keep focus on the main Zebach without engaging with the doppelgangers.
  • Unlike Hasidim or Girgashiy, Zebach is an Apostle that cannot be bounded and smited.
  • Apply as many debuffs (or damage amplifiers) as possible and use high damaging skills to bring its HP down.
  • The mission will fail if there are more than 10 players unconscious during the raid.
  • A pet with Divine Link is recommended to redirect aggression from Corpses.
