To contribute, you don't have to create pages. You can do something as simple as correcting grammar / spelling on articles, upload equipped images for items, etc. Try checking out the pages in some of the subcategories on Category:Incomplete and see if there's anything you can help with. Re: help?

I don't know. After I first discovered and read the policy, I couldn't remember much either. I tried to review sections of the policy that regarded what major modifications I was doing, and eventually it stuck in my head, but even now I double-check the policy before giving a warning, notice, etc. That's all I can offer for help to remembering. --Aramet (Talk) 21:02, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
