Spoilers on Mainstream guide

Please don't add spoilers to the guides. We have a separate section for that. --Link 04:12, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Why...? Its already spoiled enough.
Because the guide shouldn't have spoilers in it. There aren't any detailed spoilers for the storyline, so please refrain from doing so. --Link 04:20, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
But if I recall, theres already a list of NPCs who take roll. Isn't that somewhat spoilish? And so does a Guide of a Mainstream... ...Fine i'll stop. But wheres that "separate" section you were talking about?
Here: http://wiki.mabinogiworld.com/index.php?title=Mabinogi_Storyline_Recap Anyways, you're adding detailed spoilers. The guide just tells you basically what to do, not what exactly happens with the NPCs, etc. Also, please add "--~~~~" after every message you write or click the signature icon. --Link 04:30, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
But why a Signature here? This is my page right?
Hello. We admire your eagerness to add to the Generation 1 guide and the work is fine. However, the Generation guide is suppose to be spoiler free and compact for quick reading. Please refer to Link's link. --Khenta 04:34, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay okay. I understand.
Are you willing to go through the guide and remove all the spoilers you have added? I ask this because you have added some important changes to G1 and I do not want to remove them with an undo. If you do not I will have to do an Undo and hope someone else will add those changes in the future. --Khenta 04:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
Deed has been done. ~ Darkblade132
Thank you very much. Keep up the good work! --Khenta 05:16, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Reason for Signatures on talk

The reason you add a signature to talk is to identify who is talking and that it is actually you who made the addition to the talk page. Think of it is trying to separate your text from others in a large active chat room where everyone is talking at the same time with no name associated. --Khenta 04:44, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

But this is my page... Do I really need one on my page?
Yes. --Khenta 04:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Mana Shield

Lol, something might have changed since it first came out so I guess I could be wrong xP. I've helped two other people and I wasn't talking with Kusina. Also I was helped by someone who was standing by Voight or that Chief guy, I just remember she was by another NPC in Cor xD. Well it's possible something changed, I'll try it again if I ever have time. --Δκυmσ - ταłκ 22:50, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

i got MS just a week ago and only i had 2 talk to her. It might just be that when you did it without the other person talking to her, they weren't standing close enough.--Sozen Cratos Focker 07:15, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Maybe its just lag... ~ Darkblade132
Lag wouldn't have any effect on quest requirements.--Sozen Cratos Focker 05:45, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't know. She was like a few inches apart from her and then it didn't work. ~~Darkblade

Random Comments

Could you stop adding random comments after your edits? The wiki is an informational website, adding your comments after what you write can confuse others. --Link 07:09, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

... What random comments? I don't remember having much... ~ Darkblade132
"He believes that all these Magic Shields are actually blessings by the Great Irinid. They're used for protection, not for fighting." "In other words, the target's Critical gets "reflected" back to it when it strikes your Counter.". Etc. --Link 07:13, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
I thought you ment the comments for posting, not for the info. But those are technically true. ~ Darkblade132
It is still a comment. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:44, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
And uh... how am i supposed to know if a fact has a comment in it? ~ Darkblade132
If your opinions or "theories" are included. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:51, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Weren't these above the "facts"? ~ Darkblade132
I think what they are trying to say is that, although it may be a "fact", some of the comments/edits on pages are not necessary because they don't really provide important information that will benefit other users. For example, your spoiler in the Status page for Knocked Unconscious is true, but shouldn't be present in a page that addresses the "affect aspects of your character, including (but not limited to) appearance and general competence in skills" and should be moved to some mainstream generation page. --Δκυmσ - ταłκ 13:51, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I understand. I'll try not to do it again. ~ Darkblade132

Undo Revision

You might want to take a look at all the edits of yours that are being undone to see what kind of edits we want and don't want. If your edit is undone, please don't try to redo it. --- Angevon (Talk) 17:03, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

I'm going to go ahead and "strongly suggest" that you consult with other users via the various talk pages of either users or the articles in question before making edits. All we're doing right now is running around cleaning up the mess you make and we shouldn't have to do that.--Mystickskye 01:54, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
And pray tell, how am i supposed to know if its a "mess"? Gosh, you don't need to be so strict. ~ Darkblade132
That's almost exactly my point. Discuss it with others so you WILL know. Do try to keep up.--Mystickskye 01:59, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
If anything, we should be more strict. Most of your edits are being undone. Use the talk page to consult whether the edit should be made. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 02:01, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Easy, most of the stuff you've written already has been undone. Don't write anything like that anymore. :P (Sorry for deleting the comments, I usually hit the diff button and accidentally deleted them. x.X) --Link 03:35, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Shadowboy132

You like "132" very much huh? maybe you would like him. See his contributions on what NOT to do here. Also see his talk page history for more details.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 09:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Try to leave the past alone. Its no good if we bring back the past to the present. And don't be so mockingly, its not good for you. ~ Darkblade132
What does any of his past have to do with yours? Oh wait...nvm. (Why don't we have rule for sockpuppets anyways? I can't just tell them to read the policy -.-) I suggest ban for using unecessary multiple accounts. --Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 09:54, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I second the motion to implement an anti-sock puppetry rule.--Sozen Cratos Focker 11:17, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
On the contrary, those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them. If you had the sense to "bring back the past to the present" yourself, we wouldn't need to have this "mockingly"(nice grammar btw) conversation.--Sozen Cratos Focker 11:17, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
You're not allowed to have multiple accounts, either. And really, not many of your edits have been that helpful. --Jαy 16:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
You really need to check your grammar and spelling. Half the stuff you write doesn't make much sense. --Jαy 18:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

I try to make a new start okay? Can't you guys just forget about that and at least even attempt to help me? We all make mistakes, but a few of us wish to renew it. ~ Darkblade132

Obviously you're not doing a very good job if we clean up all your edits. --Jαy 19:09, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Quit insulting why don't you? I try hard okay? Gosh. ~ Darkblade132
That's not an insult, it's a fact. Most of your edits HAVE been undone or fixed. --Link 19:16, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Dude i'm trying okay? Quit putting so much pressure on me. ~ Darkblade132
If it's too much pressure to handle, maybe you should let others do it, or read my new heading for you. --Link 19:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
You say you want to make a new start but you're doing exactly what you did back then. What's changed? You still won't listen to anyone else and you're still making messes for the rest of the users to clean up. We've told you to try certain things to try and improve your wiki contributions but you've ignored them and just acted all huffy without taking any of the advice on board. I'll say it again in case you need a refresher. For a user like you, use the talk page to consult with other members of the wiki before making edits to any articles.--Mystickskye 21:29, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't recall redoing an undoing.
I even "talked" once, but guess what happened. I was yelled at ("Caps") without an explanation why. Why should I take your advice if someone will just mistreat me? ~ Darkblade132

Because I agree with him and I'm an admin. --- Angevon (Talk) 21:41, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

...? What? ~ Darkblade132
It means that if you don't take the advice given to you by all the people on this page who are trying to tell you what does and doesn't belong on the wiki, I can and will ban you. --- Angevon (Talk) 21:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I understand, but the harshness required from others were not necessary. Plus, some of them I can't trust. ~ Darkblade132
You redid a comment about giant skeleton that was done as Shadowboy123 and reverted last year, and i'm certain that's not the only example i can find.
If you get yelled at when making a suggestion on a talk page, do what anyone else would do; realize that everyone thinks it's a bad idea and move on.--Sozen Cratos Focker 21:53, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
... I don't remember what that was... Eh, let it slide for now, I promise I won't make the mistake again. ~ Darkblade132
The yelling should (probably)get politer once you start taking the advice here. --Sozen Cratos Focker 22:05, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Insert non-formatted text here
Regardless... A yelling/single-response still isn't helpful. ~ Darkblade132
Neither are plenty of your edits, yet you see fit to be unhelpful in regards to that >_>--Mystickskye 22:14, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
What does that have to do with trust? ~ Darkblade
I don't think anyone was talking about trust. Besides that, you're still making edits that are being undone. If you don't have solid evidence to back up what you're writing, please don't write it. --Link 22:50, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Eh... I'm pretty sure that part of G2 is factual. Even I'm ontop of it.
But, how am I supposed to prove it? ~ Darkblade
It doesn't (nor do most comments here), what I'm saying is that you messed up the wiki multiple times, ignored advice to make your contributions useful rather than detrimental (not having learned from your previous stint as shadowboy) and then complained about others not being helpful. Ignoring that this doesn't give you the right to behave as you wish, it's this thing called hypocrisy.--Mystickskye 22:54, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
I would only learn if we'd all get along, not having such pointless arguments. If you were to be supportive to another, why not just teach me to be a better character here? ~ Darkblade

We've tried. You haven't been listening to any of our advice. Anyways, don't write anything unless you CAN prove it. --Link 22:59, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Why not a different approach? You have yet to even teach me a good example of what I should do right. ~ Darkblade
Join the IRC or discuss it on the talk page. That way, you'll be able to learn what you should and shouldn't do. Otherwise, just don't make any edits. --Link 23:05, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Consulting others before edits

I think it'd be best if you ask others for their opinions on your edits before you do anything. You can join the IRC here: [1] for quicker responses. --Link 19:22, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Isn't there a possibility I might tick them off if I ask too much?
And what is there to consult when if put actual facts, and it gets deleted? Not everyone is trustworthy enough. ~ Darkblade
Better than having all of your edits undone. --Link 21:28, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Whats better? Safety of others or safety of a forum? ~~Darkblade
That kind of thinking is the reason all of your edit's are undone. This is an informational wiki, not the oftopic/spam section of a forum.--Sozen Cratos Focker 05:39, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
I thought forum and wiki technically ment the same thing... I mustta gotten mixed up @_@
But even if I put the factual... it gets deleted... why? ~~Darkblade
When you add statements that are actually true and they get removed, it's usually because it was information about the storyline on a page really only meant for technical details. Other times it's because the it was worded inappropriately for a wiki article(too subjective, incorrect grammar, not technical enough, etc.) and the information, though probably helpful, isn't absolutely necessary, so we hit undo both because it's easier than rewriting it, and because so many of your past edits were completely inappropriate that we've become accustomed to hitting undo the moment we see something wrong in an edit that has your name on it. --Sozen Cratos Focker 06:37, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
A forum is a place for conversations. A wiki is a type of website that any user can edit. --Sozen Cratos Focker 06:44, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay let me ask you this: If there is no background description of it, I add it then you delete it, then whats the story behind it? Everything has a story, so don't carelessly remove it.
Lemme ask you a favor. If my writing is blah blah blah and the like, just simply fix the errors. Deleting it for this reason might just make it worse. ~~Darkblade
IJ has already warned you about your signing. Use four tildes. How hard is that? Anyway, as we have said before. Please use the talk page before making your edits. And, especially you. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:24, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Why four? You guys use two hypens. Also, I did not ask you the question. Darkblade132 07:28, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Because 4 tildes signs your signature and the time and date. The two hyphens are optional. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:37, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay... Darkblade132 07:38, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
If you want to direct a question to a specific wiki user, do it on their talk page. You can't expect everyone else to stay out of the conversation on a page as closely monitored as this.
If there is no background description of it, you add it incorrectly and someone deletes it, it doesn't mater what the story behind it is. The story is almost always unimportant and usually completely irrelevant.
When more than half of your edit is nothing but error, fixing 20 lines to save one mildly helpful comment from a revert is just not worth the effort. In your recent edit of the DK page, half of the changes were just replacing correct wording/grammar with erroneous wording/grammar without adding any information at all, and I couldn't help but wonder weather you were simply vandalizing the page or you actually thought tried to fix already correct grammar without knowing anything about grammar.
The fact that your restatement of what I said was wrong with your edits consisted of a series of "blah"s in place of the adjectives used implies that you're not familiar with those words. If that is the case, you should look them up so that you can better understand why we all hate your edits. --Sozen Cratos Focker 08:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Glas Ghaibhleann has no background information. What is it then? An ally? A human? A fomor? An elf?
Wouldn't all the readers get confused if there is no information? Darkblade132 02:05, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Nope, they would not. It's categories, spawn location details, mainstream page links and plenty of other things on the page indicate that it's a mainstream boss. --Sozen Cratos Focker 03:15, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

I'd like to have a word with you

Hi there.

After getting a heads-up about your hijinks on the wiki not just recently but apparently in the past as "Shadowboy132", I would like to direct your attention to two writings on this very wiki that I will very strictly hold you to:

Please pay close attention about how I enforce policy and also, if you ever write on my talk page, you absolutely must sign any submission by using --~~~~.

Please pay attention not only to your fellow editors and the admins, but pay particular attention to me. You are using my computer, namely my server, to express yourself.

Thank you. --Irjustman 23:48, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Warning

Do not redo your edits have been reverted. Also, keep only basic details on guides. Storyline info should be on Mabinogi Storyline Recap and not on quest pages (I'm talking about your edits to Dark Knight in particular). --- Angevon (Talk) 19:51, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

But... What if the Recap is wrong? I mean, it hasn't been edited since a while... And Crumena is spelt wrong... ~ Darkblade
Then edit the recap. --Link 21:28, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

If you are going to sign, sign CORRECTLY

I notice you sign with just "~ Darkblade132". This is unacceptable. Please use --~~~~ (or at the VERY lease, the ~~~~). This gives not just the fact you signed it, but when. It is hard as hell to figure out when you signed something, and I, for one, will not deal with dredging modification logs to find out when you post something.

Please pay attention to your fellow editors and obey the administrators and heed my warnings. As it already is, you are skating on thin ice. The instant you sign something in response to something of mine incorrectly, you may suddenly find yourself unable to edit, and possibly, even read the wiki at all.

--Irjustman 21:43, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

We're all watching you...

Every... single.. person. (Not literally. You're not that important, just important enough to revert edits.) --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:22, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Uh... And was the curse really necessary? Darkblade132 07:38, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, not really a curse. We've already been watching you from the start. --κєνıи тαıĸ«) 07:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Don't I think thats obvious already? Darkblade132 07:40, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Darkblade132. PLEASE use the article's "discussion" tab and make a new section on the edit you plan to make to the article. This will allow us to comment and cleanup on your ideas before you put them into the article. This way you can avoid the undoing of your work. --- Angevon (Talk) 14:33, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Okay um. What is the point of the Discussion tab if:
A) No one will answer it?
B) A Given indirect/misleading answer?
or C) A single one-word response? Darkblade132 01:59, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Use the IRC, or be patient. [2] --Link 03:20, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
A)Wouldn't worry about that if i were you. As Kevin already said, "We're all watching you..." so you'll probably get a responce no mater how few ppl are watching the page
B) can you elaborate on that? oh wait, you can just say that to an indirect response. I really don't see how a "misleading" response could happen.
C) If the single one word response is a yes or a no, you know weather or not it was a good idea. If you get a one word response and would like to know why your idea was bad/good, ask the author of said one word response.--Sozen Cratos Focker 03:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
A)Find that hard to believe... Asked a few times, no answer.
B) Misleading is possible. :P
C)Refer to A. Darkblade132 03:45, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

You haven't even bothered to try using a discussion page except to ask that one question about dying during aclhemy clues (which has been answered, by the way). Start using the discussion tab or ask others whether your intended edit is welcome or not or you'll be banned again. This is an ultimatum. --- Angevon (Talk) 04:04, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

I'd hate to say it, but your wrong.
G7. Price (which was a year ago). Morgant. And a few others. Darkblade132 04:23, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
If you got no response, that means we haven't gotten to it cause we're still cleaning up the bad edits you made before trying a talk page once.--Sozen Cratos Focker 06:35, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Your Edits and Redirects on Lugh

We appreciate that you want to make apparent your knowledge that Morgant is Lugh, however in Morgant's talk page we already said that "Lugh" should not be directed into the page "Morgant" because it is a spoiler, yet you continue to do so. Please use the talk page a bit more and when someone says "no", please don't do it or give a good reason why you want to do it. =/ --Miyuna 16:25, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Um... theres spoilers in most other pages. Why don't you guys clean that up then? Darkblade132 02:02, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Please tell us which pages contain these spoilers. There may be a reason to why they may be there. --Δκυmσ - ταłκ 03:33, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I'm too lazy to list so... most other Generation Related Chars. Darkblade132 03:47, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
List.--Sozen Cratos Focker 06:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Quite frankly, I am tired of your "spoiler" this and "spoiler that". I am tired of going to the Recent Changes and see your edits and thinking to myself, "Oh boy what did he do next time". Most of your edits are really just adding in spoilers for generations. --Miyuna 06:39, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
UHHHHHHHHHHH... What else is there to edit? Darkblade132 06:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
If you have nothing else to contribute, then don't contribute at all. Isn't that an easy answer? If there is nothing left to touch then don't touch it. --Miyuna 06:45, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Disrespect to your fellow editors, attention to rules, etc.

Hello.

Your fellow editors, the mods and admins are getting fed up with you and are now circling you like vultures over a dying animal. Just so you know, your access to the wiki is in grave jeopardy.

Your fellow editors have to keep fixing the edits they feel do not belong on the wiki (including and especially editorializing). Not to mention, you've shown outright disrespect to your fellow editors by displaying flippancy about the whole subject of spoilers.

As for me, since you are using my machine, I am no longer requesting, but outright ordering you to read the site policy, how I stand when it comes to wiki conduct (pay particular attention to this one since part of it was written because of you!), and what could happen as a direct result of your actions should I be the one in the vulture formation to dive-bomb you.

You must read all three items and tell me you have not only read those documents, but that you also accept those rules outline on said documents and accept the consequences of your actions, indicating same on my user talk page.

The next move is yours. I suggest you put considerable thought into it. Consider this your final warning. --Irjustman 09:22, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

History of Editing on Other Wikis

Darkboy, i love your videos on youtube, and i'm sorry to have to bring this up, but how could you not realize when this many people have told you what's wrong and to stop editing wikis? I realize that it's not your fault that you cannot be aware of it. But comon you've been banned from the Grand Chase Wiki [3] while taking a break from this wiki (and came back), we can't help you anymore if you continue the repeated pattern.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 02:35, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

... Your a stalker you know that?
There was actually a reason why I was banned behind it, but its nothing to your concern.
By the way, I was also banned on that forum, but to tell you the truth, it was completely unfair (because other people broke the law and they were not punished). Please don't stalk me anymore. Darkblade132 02:45, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
This is not about stalking, but about "why don't you get it". It troubles me to think that there is a innate uncontrollable factor with you that makes you do it.--Hengsheng120·TALKCONTRIBS 04:03, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Banned

You've been banned because you haven't listened at all to what everyone has been telling you. Some of your edits have been good, but the majority have not been good or have required too much cleanup. We told you MANY TIMES to use talk pages to tell us what edits you'd like to make before actually making them. You didn't do that.

In the end, we'd rather not have you contribute at all.

It's pretty much up to IJ whether or not you'll be unbanned at some time. --- Angevon (Talk) 04:07, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

I have a message for you, pal.
If you ever want to edit any wikis like this one ever again, it would do well to take particular heed to several tips:
  • Listen to and work with your fellow editors. They are your best asset you could ever have.
  • Obey those who not only run the wiki, but you absolutely must obey the ones hosting the wiki as well.
You have not only not listened to your fellow editors, you have outright disobeyed the moderators and administrators. By extension, you have disrespected my authority for this server since it is my personal property. As such I have no desire to ever let you on ever again.
There is a null-route with your name on it in your immediate future.
Congratulations, you have earned it.
