gorgon's intuition

the there are 4 types of gorgons listed in race.xml, 1 of them is called "hardmode gorgon" which the name suggests isn't out yet that's not out yet, so I'm not gonna about it right now. the of the other 3, 2 have rank1 intuition, and 1 has rank 8. the 1s with rank 8 intuition have only rank c natural shield and the other 2 have rank 6, so i guess the one that the gorgon page says doesn't have NS would be the 1 with the lower ranked intuition, and it doesn't actually not have NS but just has it low ranked.--Sozen Cratos Focker 05:43, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Do not convert that current JPG to PNG. When you uncompress a picture with compression artifacts, its size will increase dramatically with no quality improvement. It is best if you can get the file from .DDS version in game files with mabiunpack and directly convert that into PNG. GIF files have a limited color palette.--黄恒升 ^{☞ 评论 ☜} 21:30, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Taking a good picture (100% quality, minimal JPG compression) requires mods (by default the quality is 90%), while mabiunpack just allows to see and copy the files. Paint can be used if you can take 100% quality pictures and save them as PNG.--黄恒升 ^{☞ 评论 ☜} 21:37, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I'll just be lazy and copy it to here.

1.Make Mabinogi go into Window mode

2.Open another small application, (Ex. Notepad) and resize the window to the smallest area possible.

3.Make sure the part of the client that you want to make a screenshot of shows.

4.Click on the title bar of the other application.

5.Press Print Screen (Prt Scrn).

6.File>Paste (Ctrl+V) into a photo editor (paint works too).

7.Crop your image to desired size.

8.Save as .PNG to maintain 100% quality (uncompressed).

So in other words...put Mabi into Windowed mode (Alt + Enter), open Notepad, make Mabi shrink to only show what I want to take a picture of, click on Notepad, take a screenshot, paste into Paint, cut out everything but the picure and the nearby stuff to make a correctly-sized image, then save with .PNG instead of default.

Am I right?

You don't have to shrink the Mabinogi window, but if you want to go ahead. What Hengsheng120 meant is that you should make sure that Notepad isn't covering up what you're taking a picture of and to shrink Notepad down to the smallest possible size to give you plenty of view of the game screen. --Aramet 20:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I think I've done this right, the Dungeon Wax Wing is lacking an image, so I'm going to upload a picture of that...Opened notepad, had notepad with the imput blinking cursor, screenshot, cut the Waxen icon out of the big picture, then put that into a smaller image, then saved it into .PNG format. Uploading it now.

Could you confirm I did this all correctly, Hensheng?

The dropdown menu on Paint only had it capitalized, and the link didn't work until I capitalized it there too.
